Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

After taking a mental health break from Youtube Lifebyjen looks like she packed on at least 60lbs. Her like to dislike ratio has started to resemble foodiebootys. How long until she disables comments?

holy fuck she gained. she must have been eating like 8-10k calories a day for the past week. i guess that april 1st thumbnail wasn't a joke after all.

You’ll also notice people who weigh more tend to make a LOT of food at once and then put the leftovers in the fridge “for tomorrow’s lunch” or “for the husband to have”, only to eat it themselves a few hours later, just because it’s there. AL makes huge pots of food at a time and Chantal orders huge amounts of food at once and promises to leave some for the next day’s lunch, only to break down and eat it all an hour later.

Your brain will tell you to eat more delicious pasta if it knows there’s an entire pot of it still in the kitchen. Deliberately making only one or two servings of pasta at a time means if you want more, you’ll have to make more, and most people will realize they aren’t actually hungry enough to go through the bother of making it again.
Reminds me of this video, where the girl in it mentions that she used to "meal plan" and then go back and eat 2-3 days worth of food because she was embarrassed of what her roommates might think.

Looks like people's comments are really starting to get to Anna. She made a whole TikTok video about her "haters."

Anna also made a TikTok video about how she is fat and how it's not a bad thing. It is only a word.

Here is another TikTok video of Anna at Disneyland with some other "tiktokers."

"Why is this obese middle-aged chaperone touching me?"

From her newest video's comment section. She talks about the negative comments on the Gillette ad and how she doesn't care (she does). Another person commented how she seems "down" in the video, even though she's going on and on about all of the great things that are happening to her. TiK ToK AmBaSsADoR! And she got that gig not from being fat (she says), but from just being her cool self.

Yikes. Not only is she twice their age, one of her "candy juicy thighs" is as thick as their waists.

The IG stories from that night were strange. She was at the social event with the other Tik Tok folks but left early to "be an adult and responsible" -- but the way she was talking it didn't seem like that was really why she left. Then she obviously had problems on the rides at Disney and mostly just filmed other people on rides.

here's a still from her latest tik tok, slay it girl!

Considering just how fat you have to be to be unable to ride that really puts her size in perspective.

The healthy obese thing is interesting. The body is a resilient thing but it can only take so much. It’s totally possible to be a little overweight and be healthy - twenty extra pounds and a decent diet with good activity levels isn’t an issue for most. But; once you get past a certain point weightwise the clock starts ticking.

So obese in your twenties? You may well have decent blood sugar control and do fine on a lab workup. And then you may say ‘well the doctor says I’m healthy.’ But you’ll also have increased inflammation.

Obese past your forties, it catches up with you. These bloggers are almost all young. Once they get another few years on the clock the diabetes, metabolic syndrome, joint damage, atherosclerosis etc and just general strain on the system will catch up with them.

Are there any older bloggers ?

Anyone who ages out of the FA movement gets pushed to the shadows so newer, younger icons can take center stage. It makes ignoring the inevitable health problems much easier.

In a way it’s exactly like the thinner mainstream beauty industry...an unending conveyor belt of young, healthy, nubile people that are displayed and then shoved out of the light and out of sight when they get older and start to break down from eating disorders, drug addictions, whatever kept them going and on top in the industry.

The FA, HAES and whatnot are the same...pick out the healthiest, prettiest specimens you can find and laud them as wonderful and brave and influencers, and as soon as they break down and lose whatever looks or health they had, dump them for more youthful faces.

At least the beauty industry is honest about aging out models, though. They don’t just pretend they never existed, and if they die of anorexia or whatnot nobody says “you don’t know that for sure, maybe that 24 year old bone-thin woman’s heart just gave out for unrelated reasons! There’s no correlation between being underweight and being unhealthy!!”

The beauty industry doesn’t lie to itself. It knows these things are bad and unhealthy. It’s not labouring under delusion, just good old-fashioned capitalism. And it sure as hell doesn’t shout “we celebrate ALL bodies and people and ages, everyone is valid!” while sweeping older broken specimens under the carpet. It’s very upfront about “young, thin, pretty.”
