What a day this is.
So much happiness for this outcome. It's like when you find out you won something by mail, months after the fact. In my mind (and I suspect in other folks', too), this case is an emblem for so much of the awful behavior I've read about and witnessed firsthand during this wave of social justice.

Thank you to everyone who's helped vic make it through this. Nick, Ty, the fans, everyone here who's helped us follow it all and archived the truth for BHBH.
I could name a lot of people. You know who you are. This is a righteous thing you've done.

(I know there's a ways to go yet, but wow.)

I actually suspect Marchi has a Lawyer. She shut up and went radio silent as soon as the first letters hit.

Supposedly Ron met with a super expensive top notch primo Texas Lawyer and firm. However probably 30-50% of Ron’s defamatory tweets named in the lawsuit occurred after that meeting. So his “Super Lawyer” is not gonna be happy. Not at all. I’m guessing maybe Monica assumes she’s using him? Unless she stupidly assumes Funimation is indemnifying her? Boy won’t she be fucking surprised!?

Things will not be happy at Funimation. They will have lawyers, and may also have Sony. But Sony is gonna be pissed. This is all caused by a lack of any HR management at Funi and a total failure of management in general. Heads will be rolling.

That's my only sadness about this. Doesn't bundling it into one big lawsuit like this mean Funimation's lawyer will be Ron, Jamie, and Monica's lawyer, too?

The real fun stuff won't be in court, but in the depositions where they can ask him all kinds of shit they wouldn't otherwise (remember all the random stuff from the Meyer vs Waid ones Nick read out not too long ago). Honestly it's a shame they can't livestream that shit on PPV. I'd pay $59.99 to watch the Amazons owning Soye live and in HD on my giant ass tv.

I dont know about funimation but if some speds cost me 1,000,000 neetbux ill be absolutly fuckin livid.
