Legal question:

Would the police have returned his pepper-spray to him after he got sprung from the clink? Or would they have kept it either as evidence or as confiscated property?

Jerkop Meanyheads dun stole his pepper spray can. So he has to got to go to da Get-Tar Region 25 miles away (where he's not banned....yet) to get anudder one.
(Either that, or he dug through the Hoard, and swiped 1 of the 12 pepper spray cans from it. The ones Snorlax bought on a whim to protect her from Commynists or the Green County School Board.)

Ten years in the IsoCubes!
Nonsense. Standard punishment for drokking mutants is Exile to The Cursed Earth Wasteland. Know the law, Citizen.

Let me get this straight. In Chris' mind, "I just got out of jail for pepper spraying a man. I think I will repeat this action." is a perfectly valid line of thought?

Every time I think he can't get any more dense, he proves me wrong.

Chris is delusional. Even if somebody casually mentioned "If people are stalking you, maybe you should get a pepper spray!" could have led to this.

As far as Chris getting into jail, I don't think it will cause much good. There are some suspicions as to what will happen, depending on what facility he gets in:
-Chris is locked up all day and goes crazy and even more broken.
-Chris gets beaten up/raped/killed by hardcore criminals.
-Lastly, I think there is a small chance that prison will just make him learn from the inmates how to be really dangerous. Unlikely, I know. :stupid:

As I see it, prison does nothing good to him. The only upside to it is that the public is protected from him.

Now if he went into a mental institution, that may be better, but as a lot of people said, that is unlikely too.

But not punishing and helping in any way reinforce his "deserved privilege" opinion of himself.
And when many a sweetheart tried to give him advice, he brush them off and just nod, having just china in his endgoal. And he refuses (nor would listen to) a therapist.

I could see the only person who'll reasonably be able to influence him as an actual sweetheart who would stay around and eventually let him fuck her. And that's for the tiny window before he sees her as Barb N°2. Nobody is heroic enough to do that.
The sweethearts couldn't force Chris to do anything, and Chris would never even consider a therapist on his own initiative.
But the courts can force him to see a therapist (I'm not 100% on how such an arrangement works but I'd guess the therapist reports on what progress Chris has made) and more importantly the courts can force Chris into prison which will scare him shitless :briefs:
Chris will probably never accept that he was wrong to do what he did, but he will understand that doing so will result in a prison sentence, and that's good enough

I don't know how it all works, but it seems logical that if the court gives someone bail, and within days they're out threatening people again, then next time the court could decide to just remand the person til trial.

It all depends on the judge. If it's the same judge he saw before he may be incredibly unwilling to set any bail. He may also be given a bail but dramatically increased - say, $20,000. If it's a different judge he may not even really look deep in to things and just say "Crazy man, trespassing and disturbance, $5,000 bail". It all depends on the chief prosecutor and the judge and how they want to proceed.

I mean, the guy that tried assaulting my girlfriend three times in a month was let out on bond twice. He whined and begged that his poor children were going to suffer if he was locked up and also he was the real victim since she broke his ribs and gave him a concussion. Chris, if he had any wherewithal at all, could claim he was under "emotional duress" because he is the sole caretaker of his feeble elderly mother and the judge may be incredibly lenient or let him out under house arrest and he'd be a good boy, promise, please just set bail and let me out so I can take care of her.

I'd agree if this was a single incident. The whole blind squirrel analogy comes to mind.
Problem is, he did this twice, barely a week apart. It takes a special brand of exceptional stupidity to do that. He's gotten worse in the fact that the deep depths of his stupidity seem to be more lasting rather than the short bursts of stupidity we've grown used to.
Eh, I'm still going to have to politely disagree. He's already been arrested before what happened last week. Nothing really phases him since he keeps getting out of every bad situation unscathed.

I always try to retain a stubborn sense of optimism regarding what will happen to Chris and how he may or may not learn from his actions, but goddamn. All these recent events are kind of killing that vain hope. :heart-empty:

If he's already been bann from this Mal-Wart, he could get arrested for trespassing, but probably won't. It would be for the best if he did, though, so he doesn't just get a slap on his wrist again.

If I'm not mistaken, Chris is banned from all the Wal-Marts in his geographic area, which is why he had to shop at Target (until he got banned there, too). As specified in the Wal-Mart apology letter:

Chris said:
Dearest [redacted],

It has been long over one year since the mishap that occured from my frustrated behavior from this loneliness, life stress and online bully stress. I write to you today to most sincerely apologize for my misbehavior and humbly request readmittance into the Wal-Mart establishments.

I have matured mentally for the better. The original action of defacing Microsoft's Console, followed much later after and in repsonse to having been Banned in BOTH of the Wal-Mart establishments closest to my home of residence, of informing the Internet Trolls about your action. Both of my actions were most undignified and uncalled for.

I have seen the wrongdoing of my action, and in return the upset these actions have done unto the business income of your owned/managed establishment.

I humby[sic] and most sincerely apologize from the bottom of my human heart and my soul. I am truly, very sorry. I promise none of that shall ever happen again.

And I humbly request written consent of unbanning me from Both the Wal-Marts in Ruckersville, VA and Charlottesville, VA. It is more distance and mostly for me to take my faily walks at the Target. And I am in an emotionally mutual true and honest relationship with a lovely woman; It is very serious, and we deeply Love (NOT to be confused with the act of intercourse) and Care for each other with honesty and compassion. I do not wish to inhibit her, in our Shopping Together, by leaving this BAN left unresolved positively.

Please Respond with your answer, in the name of True Love, in writing immediately, via paper Letter and United States Postal Service Mail.

Thank You Very Much, and Have a good, safe day.

Sincerely, Christian Weston Chandler

So either Wal-Mart in the Charlottsville or Ruckersville areas are perfectly justified in detaining him and turning him over to law enforcement.

Chris is too honest for that. Unless his mother puts him up to it he'll blame his crimes on Sega, those dang dirty trolls, Mary Lee Walsh and Mike Snyder. He would air out every grievance he's ever had in front of that judge in full, autistic detail if he allowed it.

Is this is all true, Chris' paranoia is seriously spiraling out of control.

I had a client breach 3 times and he was still let out(he was told that these was the last time he plea guilty to his charges got probation and breached within a month). So its possiable that Chris could be release if he get picked up. Were I to be adjudcating this matter I would what someone who is not Barb to stand as surity

An increasingly unhinged Chris, an increasingly frail Barb, and Sonic Boom confirmed for a second season. I have a feeling that we're reaching the endgame very soon...

Long time, first time here. I'm just an observer, I have no dog in this fight.

I'm not sure this has been mentioned yet, but ever since this possible news broke earlier today, I have been periodically checking Chris's Facebook page to see if he would post a denial of anything. FWIW, I believe if nothing happened, or he was released from custody immediately, he would have caught a glimpse of these rumors that are spreading about him at Walmart. The fact that nothing has been posted by Chris in the handful of hours since this possible leak indicates to me that something has happened, albeit we don't know for absolute sure what it is. All I can say is I hope it's nothing terrible. Just my two cents for my first post.
