Cummings was annoying as shit, his videos were boring - and as far as I saw, never promoted CG alternatives like he routinely expected from EVS and other pros. 'I love comics' is about the same. Sorry, but he's not pushing anything. Yellowflash is a sped who as far as I can tell seems more interested in Vic, so he's off doing his own thing. TUG as well, however, he actually put out a book too. Ernst and Sweetcast are another good examples of commentators pointing out problems in the industry then providing alternatives, you can take it or leave it but there are options.

TBF I don't really care, I've ragged on him pretty hard in the past and it's just internet points. Hell, I told him I'd rate autistic if he keeps spilling spaghetti. LNC will be LNC. If I can be devil's advocate for anti-CG for a moment, but something they don't ever talk about is something CG accuses them of doing: Not buying. Tell me for a fact that if, say, yaboi didn't post up an issue of Female Furies you would have gone out and bought it. I know I sure as shit wouldn't. It looks cringe as fuck on it's own, and given the current run of MARVEL and DC crap, it's safe to assume 90% of their stuff is garbage. I don't need Zack or Just Some Guy to tell me. So majority of CG fans aren't going to buy the bad shit anyway, and MARVEL and DC will still put it out, or move on to another one.

In my opinion, as fun as the cringe videos are, Yaboi and JSG, as well as the others should really put out comic reviews of GOOD stuff, because that's what's going to "move the needle" without using the hashtag. The problem with the hashtag was it was something Anti-CG could point out and identify as "alt-right nazi". The way I figure it, if you have a video saying 'Daredevil #4 is great, go get it' then people go buy it, the sales bump up and through that, the comic shop can order more of that. I can't say for sure this is 100% going to work, but it seems a lot more helpful than buying Domino #3, saying it sucks and then... that's it. No one was going to buy it anyway.

Tell that to kickstarter and IGG. I can name dozens of projects that would have never succeeded if it wasn't for crowdfunding.
I dont understand why millionaires crowdfund and try to pass the risk on instead of engaging in venture capital considering most successful projects are fairly low risk anyway.
Every book I've backed on IGG has seen print. I consider that a success.

I do think YaBoi and JSG actually do give credit where credit is due even in their roasts. "This comic is juvenile, SJW garbage, but look at this art right here, this is really good..." etc
