Yep, you saw that with Etika for sure. He even said he couldn't wait for us to make hilarious memes about his death. I wonder if the suicide attempt usually happens on the upswing or the downswing of the manic episode.

I don't know about "usual" but in his case I think upswing. When I'm down I'm too apathetic to even bother. On manic upswings I think everything is a brilliant idea (or something to that effect) and that idea is all consuming. If ever there was a time when I'd have the energy to blow my brains out the back of my skull, it'd be during mania.

The thing he long foreshadowed and feared has come to complete fruition.

I really wonder how he looks at the Stupid Mario Bros documentary now. The reason I consider it his best work is because it combined all his strengths. He talked about something that he felt a lot of empathy towards (like Elliot Rodger), he lulled a couple of exceptional guys into a false sense of security and got them to humiliate themselves on an interview, and then he milked their downfall for memes. "We split because of creative differences" became a meme that means "we split over a woman" and is played for laughs in his various projects like the Downward Spiral video:

Considering his latest tweets, he must look at his former self as a total asshole and wants to distance himself from that old Mumkey, because the old Mumkey would be one of the "incels" jerking off him for laughs right now, but Mumkey did absolutely nothing wrong with regards to Stupid Mario Bros. He let them expose their narcissistic faults and helped them fall on their own sword, that is all.

Definately.
I guarantee Mumkey has new empathy for people he used to shit on like Stupid Mario Bros., which is why his channel is fucked.

People liked him for the content where he shit on people (Stupid Mario, Elliot Rodger, even Mumkey Stops a School Shooting was made to shit on Derek Savage), and now that he has become one, there's no way he's gonna be able to mock losers again. He's just gonna turn his edgy humor on his "haters" (fans), himself, and maybe easy targets that count as "punching up" like the Pauls, but mostly the first 2.

Well i guess i have that to look foward to.

I remember how Mumkey, in his series on stupid mario bros, made fun of the creator for still believing that the the channel was doing better than ever despite it struggling to break 1,000 views, and now he is sitting on the floor, alone, broke and uploading videos to his irrelevant backup channel about how "it's really not that bad guys" and "I dumped HER". He can't even make it look like he is handling the situation well on a prerecorded video.

I really recommend watching the stupid mario bros video as it's pretty much Mumkey Jones describing Simian Jimmy.

I'm incredibly curious as to how this turnaround happened. How do you go from absolutely broken, crying on camera, having lost both a girlfriend and a fiance in the span of two months, and considering suicide, to acting like you're on top of the world and "the haters" are all just out to get you?
Does anyone else understand what clicks in someone's mind to get that hard of a shift within a day or two? I thought I had a good read on him when he was in the middle of the "run away from the internet to run away from my mistakes" arc, but this new shift is just baffling.
Since I didn’t see anybody else directly spell it out; it’s all cope. The man’s brain is working overdrive to justify how he is still the “protagonist” of the story, and that includes shifting the narrative to whatever makes him feel better in the moment. Either he’s a tragic hero hitting rock bottom (Walter White), or he’s making a noble sacrifice for others (Black Widow), or he’s an uncaring outcast willing to ride a wave of hate to greater success (DSP).

He may be willing to admit he’s made mistakes, but he needs for there to be some sort of greater poetry to the direction of his life. He needs his life to be kino, otherwise he’s just some unimportant youtuber who screwed his own life up for no real gain. And unfortunately, I think as long as he’s trying to apply that template to his life, he’ll never be able to take the steps to actually improve and move on.

I think Mumkey is using his YouTube channel to tell himself that it's going to be okay. He can't convince himself that he isn't beyond salvation so he tries to convince his audience in the hope that they will then echo the sentiment in his comment section to then hopefully convince him of his own message.

He tries to make it look like he doesn't care about the comments, but in reality he has never relied more on people validating him than now.

All the people genuinely believing he got paid anything to be in that picture, y'all are silly geese. It's one of those promotional pictures all venues do, they take pictures of random people having a gay old time at their business location and post it for the sake of promotion. They pay no-one for it, probably not even the photographer (either an already employed staff-member or someone working to build a portfolio).

On his Patreon, to quote myself -

If Mumkey was a minimum wage worker in Iowa, where he is from and where he lives currently, he would earn at least $7.25 an hour. If he worked 40 hours a week for the whole 52 weeks of the year, his yearly wage would be $15,080. I don't live in the US so I don't know how vacations work, how much of that goes to taxes, etc.

He is currently earning less than a minimum wage golden-archer slightly more than he would at a minimum wage job (Patreon is approx. $16,620), with no health insurance (while undergoing therapy and taking all the pills), after having just bought a house, a car, and a cat. He is not doing well.

However if you put forward the hypothetical McDonald's Tyler Millard vs the Internet's Mumkey Jones, he would probably have been fired from that minimum wage job due to either not attending or acting like a spazz during work-hours. In summary, it isn't a good time to be this particular individual no matter what scenario you pick.

Full analysis of his finances circa July 17th (please note he is doing much worse now):

EDIT: Also to that one person who said he would earn as much at Asda (showing they are from the UK) please remember to convert from dollars to pounds. His Patreon earns him approx. £13,595.16 per year, which is well below UK minimum wage for a 23 year old (I am tired from my job and I ain't figuring out what minimum wage would work out to be, do it yourself). Keep in mind various perks for working for multi-national corporations (staff discounts, health benefits, access to staff stock options, etc) and he would be better to don the black and green.

If Tyler hadn't pursued YT he would probably have a teaching job. You might wonder if a spaz like Tyler could hold down a teaching job, bu a lot of what you are is determined by the people you surround yourself with. If Tyler had gone into teaching I'll go as far as to say that he might have been able to become a slightly awkward coworker holding a steady job in a school. (might still have been an incel tho)

I wonder what grade...

It's really something looking at people who melt down like Mumkey. Even if their old content is quality, you begin to examine it through the lens of their more recent videos. With Maddox, it was finding out that when he was bitching about people's choice of pizza toppings it wasn't just someone joking around, he actually meant it. In Mumkey's case, all his Elliott Rodgers videos have a complete tonal shift when you see just how pathetic he became when he had no gf.
