TL;DR watch these two clips:
Clip #1. DSP gets $20 from a viewer/fan to buy Untitled Goose game, says he will do it:
Clip #2. The next day, DSP says he doesn't have money to buy Untitled Goose Game and asks his viewers to donate him credits for the Nintendo shop/PSN etc.:

Full story:
Updates:
What stands out in all of this, is that he doesn't explain why he promised to use the $20 to buy the game yesterday, and why today he's asking for "$15 plus tax" in shop credit. There are basically two options:
1. He intended and was able to use the $20 to buy the game, but for some reason wasn't able to do so anymore today
2. The $20 got added to his already overdrafted bank account, meaning he never was able to use it anyway
The grievance mostly comes down to him simply not explaining where that $20 went (or where it ended up immediately after getting donated).
Also, it completely contradicts the "Please tip me so I can buy games tomorrow/this week/this month, I get that money right away" he repeats like 10 times every stream. Someone donated $20 directly, so according to his own words, he should've been able to buy it straight away/ASAP.

Long-time viewer/fan DJRuno1 was using cheers to ask if DSP would play Untitled Goose Game if someone would gift it to him.
DSP said "maybe I would consider playing it", and DJRuno1 proceeded to tip him $20 so he could buy the game on the Switch.

Before even thanking him for the tip, DSP started to explain what DJRuno1 should have done instead: he should have bought him a code, instead of tipping him $20 like this. But: DSP said he would buy the game for the $20 he just received and he'd play it "next week"
The reaction of the battered wife:
And to add insult to injury, DSP then refused to put him on the leaderboard as the top tipper (of the "slow" stream, btw), because the stream was ending soon anyway, even though he kept streaming for almost 15 minutes after getting the $20 tip...

DSP flat out says he isn't going to buy Untitled Goose Game and that someone has to gift him the credits for it. Basically: the money disappeared in the black hole that is DSP's wallet.
Text from clip #2 above:
"I wanted to play Untitled Goose Game, but I can't afford it now. If someone actually gifts me the Nintendo Credits, that's the very first thing I would play. I could play it this weekend and I WANT to play it this weekend. I'm pissed off now that I can't, because I was pumped to play it.
So yeah: if anyone was going to go to my Amazon wish list, please consider getting me the Nintendo shop credits. I think it's $15 plus tax, FYI. So please consider that, but yeah, again; I can't afford anything new right now. If anyone gifts credits on PSN or Nintedo shop, that would help out tremendously. Okay?"
Reaction from DJRuno1 and chat:

He actually did add the game to his schedule in a tweet yesterday evening (around 10 PM his time, after the "late" stream).

People in chat have been asking about the $20 tip/not buying the game during today's (Oct. 7th) early stream. DSP gets angry and lashes out at them.

TL;DR Watch this compilation by Mighty D:
Full synopsis:
1. A fake DJRuno posts a thread on TKOH forums named "DSP Pocketed My $20 I donated for a game". (archived thread here: https://archive.li/CwFiA).
In typical DSP fashion, he changes the thread title to:

...and responds to the person who started the thread, thinking it's the actual DJRuno1:

2. He then bans DJRuno1 immediately after showing up in chat before starting his Minecraft stream, launches himself into a 30+ minute rant during the stream and insults (what he thinks is) DJRuno multiple times. (watch the compilation video at the top of this update)
3. Meanwhile, the real DJRuno1 posts a thread on TKOH forums explaining what happened: he started a complaint/chargeback on PayPal, and DSP refunded him the $20 using the money he made on the early stream:
DJRuno1's archived thread: http://archive.li/rl8Y8
The PayPal message he posted:

In short, the message says that PayPal is happy to see the two parties were able to resolve the matter themselves.
4. DSP apologizes at the end of the Minecraft stream (included in the compilation video at the top of this update) and on Twitter:

A summary of the super Chill Minecraft stream plus some extra stuff can be found in this post made by @mollyhawk.
