Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

What the actual fuck? IANAL but this looks completely unethical and illegal. What would happen if a lawyer (or lemwah) is found to be harassing someone through the legal process? Please tell me that prison could be on the table? I can't process this. Even if I give lemwah the absolute benefit of the doubt, there is no possible game plan where this makes sense outside of some organized crime type thing. Like what if sabot or some other scum sucker is funneling money to this dipshit for the purpose of sandbagging this whole thing while also trying to recon info about future litigation? This reads like lemwah cracking his knuckles menacingly at the non party and BHBH and saying to the effect of "We can keep this up all day or you can do what we want and things get real quiet". Also I just lol'ed really hard trying to imagine Lemwah doing anything menacingly.

I will admit the thought of Iago / Igor helping fund MoRonica's defense to keep himself out of the hotseat had occurred to me too, but we'll never know, because that's Work Product, and Work Product is for all intents and purproses Privileged information, which Lemonfurher fucking knows, and is just hoping BHBH or Chupp are too stupid to say no.

Ty Beard filed a Motion to Quash the Notice of Oral Deposition of Nonparty Christopher Slatosch:

Notice that the deposition is supposed to continue "day after day til completed." Then remember that Lemoine was getting text messages during Vic's deposition to ask irrelevant questions. They want to squeeze Slatosch for assisting Vic.

This is going to get into some mafia style tactics. Might even reach Inquisition style nonsense.

He did smile at Nick like a pedophile.

I am impressed. Every time a new filing occurs, my respect for mosquitohead goes lower.

It seems that he didn't file that notice, but send it to all parties instead, a day he knew opposing party wasn't available, with a deadline so thigh it forces the hand of opposing party to spend all their time on that notice.

And isn't in the exhibit the instructions sent to the sheriff's office? Shouldn't that have gone trough a motion on the docket before being sent?

At this point I totally expect Ty to file an ethical complaint again lemonhead. While the only question remaining is sactions and costs, Lemon plays games, refuses to show his receipts until the last minute, sent sneaky depositions and keep requesting privileged stuff. He's ranking up costs post-tcpa... all other attorney aren't doing any of that shit, only lemonfurher is doing this.

I continue to be stunned at just how good the tcpa is at its purpose of expediting defamation cases and keeping their costs low. So fucking good.

I think the mosquito actually turned him into an anti-superhero. Unlike Spider-Man, Mosquito-Man only has the power to be a disgusting, bloodsucking, subhuman piece of shit.
I dunno, sounds like most lawyers in general to me. Just look at Law Twitter! So, not really a superpower. Also supervillain is the term you might be looking for.

Considering how many ethics complaints have been sent to Nick and Ty, how close is Lemoine to a valid ethics complaint?
At this point he's clearly behaving unethically, so I feel like an ethics complaint would be appropriate here. I think Ty was opposed to sending ethics complaints to other lawyers, though.

Even Meyer v Waid has been slugging along on a jurisdictional dispute. So it's not just TCPA. Hell, murder cases often take a good 1-2 years to get to trial.

Nick wasn't wrong when he says these things take time. The Vic case just keeps producing tard-cum is all. The court doesn't really address that, apparently.

Let's think for a minute why despite corporations (who benefit from SLAPP suits) being big lobbyists and donors to all these state legislatures which consist of many lawyers/friends of lawyers that anti-SLAPP laws are allowed to pass to begin with. Yeah, lawyers like getting paid, and they'll get paid with or without the anti-SLAPP when they make it easy to game the system like Fuhrer Westnile is doing.

Any sane anti-SLAPP law should have an exception where the judge can just dismiss it from the bench if they think some weird fuckery's afoot, which the shit going on here like having depositions of the plaintiff BEFORE filing the motion, demanding more discovery (including more depositions) from people tangentially related to the case, etc. Jdolf is filing the sort of motions you'd more expect from the plaintiff in a genuine frivolous lawsuit. It's shady as all hell and at best you might call it an extremely unethical way to run up the bill.

It's hilarious you think Chupp is paying enough attention, or cares enough, to notice or take issue with any of that.

Ty also suggested "use the tools of the enemy against them."

Hell, have Nick do a rough draft, Ty can polish it and sign it.

Is this the best insults a lawyer can make since Nick got suspended?
