No matter what aesthetic is drawn pretty much everything is the same. His art has gotten much lazier since his pin up days but that's really nothing new. In art a lot of people don't mind a style but all to common nowadays you find artists who refuse to actually update themselves or in Shad's case regress backwards.
The problem with artists like that is they're afraid of alienating their audience by changing something about their style even if it's something minor or can't figure out a way to mesh the new with the old without negative or mixed results (see Shadman's shitpost comics like the trap boy or the dog mom as an example of this). Not to mention fans of these artists very rarely criticize them.
