The problem with artists like that is they're afraid of alienating their audience by changing something about their style even if it's something minor or can't figure out a way to mesh the new with the old without negative or mixed results (see Shadman's shitpost comics like the trap boy or the dog mom as an example of this). Not to mention fans of these artists very rarely criticize them.

Credit where it's due there's a better attention to detail when he tries but about 85 to 90 percent of the time and this is especially true with his comics it's all speed thru and overly simplistic.

Thing about artists who have this type of edgy fandom is that they see everything through a heavily filtered mindset. You can't alienate what is a pretty large base of people who like their meme content and non-vanilla fap material and generally when you express distaste about the content they are specifically the ones who get the most vocal about criticism so they try not to be contrarian and let the artist just do what they want.

There's a market for stupid meme stuff if Fortnite is anything to go by. Mostly kids will pay money just to have some worthless cheap laugh at something for a week and because memes don't sit still they just move on to the next one once it loses relevance so the market won't really grow dry. Shad can't keep up with this newer generation because his effort and work ethic sucks

I doesn't stop there either. He's basically remaking that cross dresser trap comic Shad did a while back, but with slightly different characters. Same thing with the Violet and Helen Incredibles beach thing. The art style is very close, but like an off-brand Shadman. It's strange.
It seems like he's done this type of off-brand artist thing before with Minus8, and he's just moved on to Shad.
I don't know, I found it kind of strange.
