I think people are over thinking it and it's most likely just a woman who's been given everything having a poor understanding of the appropriate budgeting size for stress relieving expenditures. No reason to think a company singled her out and while a good second choice and the second most probable, I don't think she suckered anyone into taking her out there specifically. Soulless people like Quinn like to pretend theyre human and so chase events that would be a heartwarming friendly fulfilling experience for normal people.

You would need a Japanese dev both engrossed enough in American culture to know of Quinn and naive of it enough not to be repulsed or scared of her, then instead of using his reserves to hit on native or nation bound whites he'd need to specifically use it to bring a long term unhelpful expenditure like Quinn to get some. No it'd have to be a western dev or writer who wanted to bring an easy girl with him and didnt have any better options lined up or someone she met recently who is naive enough to ignore her online massacres and is stupid enough to either bring a girl they dont know well or someone as obviously vile and vapid as Quinn along as a friend. I think its just more likely its mass paypig funded. No company would give a loss leader social justice write off like Quinn that much to see ships in Japan or something and having a sort of corporate retreat to see it for alot of employees is unlikely as well.

I said weeaboo. I know of a few people, Americans, obsessed with Japanese society who’ve moved there for work in gaming and other geek areas. I can see one of them hiring her.

They're still more likely to just chase tail there instead of importing from America, that and theyre even less likely to invite Little Miss-kill-yourself like Alec unluckily did. Friends are the least likely source and glorified booty call is unlikely right now especially at such an expense. Shes also known to waste paypig bucks on trips to Japan for recreation solely anyway and the timing after mini freakout suggests to me she just wants to wait it out and pretend its fine. Everything just seems to point to spoiled woman wastes money she could saved or used more practically (again) not that all uncommon

It's worth pointing out that Prostitution is basically legal in Japan and in some cases can be covered/reduced by your insurance so there's really no reason for anyone to there to spend large sums of money to bring in someone like Zoe from the outside for that reason. Literally it costs like $100/$200 an hour over there for much better looking girls than Zoe.

The TL;DR is that Japan's prostitution laws are vague and specify that, in essence, you can't sell or buy sex from strangers. The way the law is skirted is very simply the first few minutes of the prostitute transaction is getting to know one another through some small talk, so you legally are no longer "strangers" and instead are "acquaintances".

Additionally, sex work isn't as villified over there and it isn't uncommon for Japanese porn stars/models/etc to show up frequently in regular media (regular TV shows, talk shows, movies as legit actresses, and video games). The services rendered by prostitues (the massages, etc) are labeled and billed as "health" services as well.

What made the claims Zoe made so destructive was her orbiters willing to spread it. They'd never turn on her just on account of claims made.

She'd need to violate someone higher up on the progressive stack, in public, in some fashion. That'd get her disowned double-time, but she's so lazy that unless she's whining or posting dog pics she's hardly even on social media anymore.

Yeah her orbiters but theyre pretty useless without someone to bitch to, media outlets have been mostly lukewarm to just ignoring it, other game devs would have the possibility of another suicide without proof, Dc and Marvel wont touch it, the law would see two suspiciously similar claims in a relatively short period time etc
