I think there's a subtle layer of ingroup targeting to it. If you get that upset about being rejected by lesbian women to develop an entirely new ethical philosophy of consent around it imagine how upset they get being rejected by other lesbian trans women who pass better.

Also it's one way to back handed throw shade at TERFS because troons HATE women, more than Elliot Rodgers types. The MRA incels just see women as dumb tools to breed with.

A1: These days it means trying to forget all those who decided to deny me my agency, gender, and chosen name.

A2: I don't know about #NYE2020 but aside from the 2 people I live with possibly interacting with me, I expect to be alone. Time to raise money for booze.

A3: There is nothing typical in my life anymore. But last year about this time, I learned my Maternal Unit was still (after 7 years) deadnaming/misgendering me to extended members of the family, I called her out on it. This Thanksgiving was one year since we spoke.

A4: I just did in Q3.
Q5: Getting together with family can be difficult. How do you mentally prepare for family gatherings?
A5: I tried as hard as possible to be cis-passing in appearance. The fact I felt the need to do this was incredibly difficult on my psyche.

A6: I avoid my "blood" family. I try to surround myself with my chosen family, but that's difficult since they are scattered around the globe.

A8: I'm loud and proud about the woman I am. If someone openly questions me, I will flat out say "Accept me as the woman I am, or not at all." If they won't, I'll know. And I'll subtly demean everything they do/say because I have no time for transphobic bigots, related or not.
Q9: Over the holidays the role of religion can feel stronger. Does the belief you were brought up in or that you are surrounded with impact your wellbeing?
A9: Yes. the fact I walked away from that belief system to discover another is far more controversial than my transness, truth be told. Buy no one chooses to discuss my pentacle tattoo like they do my gender.
Q10: What do you wish your family did to make the holidays comfortable for everyone? How can you be more comfortable?
A10: Not remind everyone that I am transgender beforehand.
