Just look at Phil's schedule for the Christmas weeks, playing fucking vidya games everyday

Clearly what a 37 year old adult would do for the week leading to Christmas

View attachment 1073896

His vocabulary is astoundingly broad. What would motivate anyone to go check out his streams when you're bombarded with:

'Great (insert game here) stream (insert time of day here)!'

He's so unimaginative. Clearly hates everything to do with his job other than getting paid.

And his hand hurts from using the mouse! Using his computer for extended periods of time is fucking torture! 🌀🐽🌀
I'll never get over this. He's said a few times that using the WASD keys and a mouse hurts his fingers after an hour or two, but he doesn't even have the strength to use a PS4 controller either. Seriously, during his playthrough of P.T., he couldn't even hold down R3 for a few seconds.

It is in mint condition. It just broke by itself.

Actually that one there is better than mint condition because the broken glasses are held together with tape.
Im pretty sure that he would try to blame what ever service delivered the package, claiming the statue was in perfect condition when he shipped it!

“I don’t know why they did this”
“They did it to create scarcity”

Jesus Christ did kat just replace his brain with mashed potatoes? Like how can you contradict yourself in the same sentence...

Also him shitting on 30 year olds that waited outside for collectibles, this is the same guy who was buying statues and other useless junk in his late 20s-early 30s. It’s close enough that I’m gonna say it’s pot calling the kettle black

That’s even if you fully believe this story, he put words in his parents mouth about them complaining about these 30 year olds getting the action figures before them.
Kat can't replace something that wasn't there to begin with!
Phil have no problem claiming that people are saying things that they never did. remember how he claimed the guy from Kotaku called Phils detractors mentally ill or all the unnamed detractors who have somehow seen the light and apologized to him?

That...ugh it’s just such a miserable way to stream. Like god damn does he hate video games. What a life

He hates video games but he loves money and he loves being able to make so much money from his own home.

All he has to do is beg, act angry now and then on specific games and act the victim. Then a handful of whales throw money at him, he knows his audience and how to mi.l.k their money teets.

There are streamers that are sexy women, there are streamers that are good at games, there are streamers that have nice personalities and then you have DSP who is a middle aged man that is obnoxious and bad at games but he pretends to rage now and then and acts a victim to get money from people who want to see that.

Phil did confirm he runs a timer on his phone for how long the stream is supposed to go. Practically clocks in and out using his phone. :story:

Oh but he loves his job.

He just loves it so much he needs to remind himself when to stop so he doesn't stay there, completely infatuated by whatever amazing masterpiece he's playing. Be it shitty Roblox games or reading puzzle solutions.

AHCKTCHULLY

IF he employed kat in his business and gave her a salary that is just under the income tax threshold (no clue what it is in the US sorry) let’s say for arguments sake $14,000 per year.

That’s 14k that comes out of the business - isn’t taxed at all - and then lands in kats bank account ( in other words Dave’s fat greasy cuntish hands but it’s again tax free).

This is a super common practice in small businesses. I worked for a guy who’s bimbo dumb fuck gold digger wife was the company treasurer (she couldn’t even use a calculated irl).

Half the married filled jointly deduction is $12200 before you hit the 10% bracket. So you're right in the ballpark. (Stop giving him ideas.)

I know, right? Except Dave is a Sole-Proprietorship. Which means he can't do that. But even better, by being SP he's literally fucking himself because money he gets is taxed twice. Once when it enters the business (his B&O tax) and then again when he pays himself.
If he went with a single person LLC, he'd only be taxed once, on his income.

Stop giving him (good) ideas.

If he is given a $60 gift card he has to report $60 of income.

If he spends the $60 gift card he can write off $60 of expenses.

There's no mastermind tax avoidance plan here unless he's just breaking the law.

Tax avoidance is illegal under the letter of the law and you're a white collar criminal to attempt it. Tax reduction is a legitimate strategy for those that understand the intersections of both accounting and tax laws. Phil is in trouble because he failed to do the latter and ended up trying to pull off the former.

Tax laws are essentially a giant list of incentives the government (all the way down to state/county/local authorities) uses to encourage behavior it values and discourage behavior it devalues by comparison. An outstanding bill left unpaid or even owed in a tax year implies that Phil did something wrong in terms of acting in a manner to maximize his opportunities to cash in on the incentives and minimize his opportunities to run astray of the discouraged behaviors. The fact he pays somebody for this service who isn't helping him learn this lesson shows he's got deficient advisors on this front.

The other interesting thing I've noticed about him playing fighting games is that since he doesn't do tutorials ever, he's always absolutely floored whenever a fighting game doesn't play EXACTLY like Street Fighter 2. He just cannot understand them at all. It's generous to say he understands the mechanics of SFII, but he definitely doesn't understand fighting games that aren't SF2.

He was doing Mortal Kombat XI tutorials this year but they didn't help much. Maybe he has an attention deficit issue because even when a game tries to hand hold him, Death Stranding's armed nuke that will detonate if you bring it to the city cutscene for example, he still needs chat to save his ass too often to show he's retaining anything?

Solution: Make ... another slide posting the autistic chat rules.

There is one in the slides already that go over the rules.

Has there ever been a purpose to the Penne Points thing? I don't recall Phil ever reading one of those.

You're refering to the 'hilight this message' redemption perk? Phil has read hilighted messages, sparingly. His explaination is that his chat flows so fast that most of the time he's unable to see or read them before needing to scroll up to catch it on the chat window. It's a lame, but I'd ultimately say valid, explanation.
