I might as well break down all the layers here, because there is so much drama to unpack here along with a few interesting characters. This tweet has a few layers. Connor Goodwolf is behind the account. It got bashed by the Save Our Sisk bunch because it exposes the pedos in the fandom (even if it is a legal issue). Dogpatch promoted it. Feefers of Aimee Chancellor thread liked it (despite being involved with a bunch of pedos)
Connor Goodwolf is trying to get into the activism scene because it brings him more clout than trying to LARP as being rich in a fandom of broke college students. The problem is nobody in the state of Ohio takes him seriously, both thanks to things he's done during his Insane Kangaroo days and because of his tendency to carry out gay ops on furries who cross him. Recently he tried going after right wing furries and becoming pals with Dogpatch, but the schism between Sisk's crew and Dogpatch has caused Dogpatch to bleed followers as he blocks people. Dogpatch pulled an article written by Sisk before he posted his own responses saying Sisk's story was sketchy.
Thanks to the Sisk drama, Dogpatch has decided to go against pedophiles since AltFurry is dead and Milo pussied out of going to MFF. He posted a tweet promoting Connor's blocklist idea. As Dogpatch is a huge proponent of blocklists himself this was not a surprise.

Carcin is Sisk's handler, and absolutely hates police, the sex offender justice system, and prisons. Thanks to the fallout between him and Dogpatch, Carcin has become an increasingly powerful voice in the furry drama scene. So imagine his shock when he logs into Twitter and sees his former ally tweeting about this. He whipped up a tweetstorm over this.

Carcin talks about blacklisting other furries for being possible sex offenders being wrong, after telling people blocklists are okay with political fringe groups a few months back.

He's not mad with the fact it's a blocklist as much as the fact that it's a crime registry.

I think worth noting is that a few months back Carcin was also calling Patch a needed staple in the leftist furry community because he was their based furry journalist. Now that crowd is infighting hard. It's entertaining to watch furries fight over "should sex offenders be in the fandom/near cons" because while the answer should be "hell no", this is the furry fandom. Back in the day furries sick of the fandom and outsiders critiquing the fandom would say that furries will literally accept any fetish, and this is proof that has not changed.
