Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

I've been thinking about this for awhile and I think I'm on to something here. Gonna history sperg a bit.
I think the current SJW movement and other garabage is just another case of American society shifting "left" after a period of general conservatism. Most the people who are SJWs now grew up during the Bush era. Too young to remember the Clinton era, they started forming political ideals at the height of Republican power in government. They where basically the kid who'd come in to high school wearing the Che shirt and said Bush sucked but couldnt tell you why when pressed for an answer.

It really started to come into full force when echo chambers like Tumblr appeared and they suddenly had a place to spew all this bullshit thus here we are today. The thing is this has happened before. I mean look at the hippy movement and then a few years later down the line during the Regan era with a resurgence of right-wing ideals.

I really dont doubt in a few years we'll see the same thing and be making fun of whatever hardcore right wing comes as the result of the next shift.

This is an accurate statement. During the Clinton era I was in elementary school and the news was just boring adult stuff to me. Most of my time was doing homework and hanging around friends. Politics didn't matter to me and I had no political identity. I wouldn't have been able to tell you what a conservative, liberal, republican, or democrat was back then.

This is just another case of a new generation seeing something wrong with society and therefore believe their ideas will solve all the worlds ills. There may be some good points made with leftest ideology, but these SJWs do not have the wisdom to acknowledge that maybe there are a few flaws with their ideas. They are too busy fighting the "good" fight against the forces of "evil". They are the crusaders fighting against the unenlightened barbarians and have literally internalized their ideology as being a part of their identity.

I too see a serious conservative backlash coming up as the next generation will come along to fix what they see as going wrong and inevitably fuck something else up in the process. This is why history repeats. Humans are always striving for something better and with every lesson learned from the past the next generation has to relearn. Humanity is constantly getting the reset button set on them with each generation. On one hand this allows for change and adaptibility with the next generation being less afraid to try something new and challenge the orthodoxy, but on the other hand in the process it is easy to fall to arrogance thinking you have the solution. Right or wrong, the next generation will always try to set right what they see as going wrong.

Unlike the baby boomers, everything these people placed on the internet is there forever where a hippy baby boomer can say, "Yeah, I was stupid as a teenager, but it is not a big deal" and have an easier time whitewashing their past with maybe a few embarrassing photos.

I've read some of Ms. Brick's other articles on her life (years ago) and she comes of as a vain, shallow, self-absorbed woman who seems to have a paranoia towards other women being jealous and hating her for her beauty. Knowing that she was an ugly duckling as a teen, had a loser first husband, her attempts at being pretty and flirty didn't get her the power in the work force she wanted, this failed endeavor and ending up marrying a shallow, controlling man who only values her looks (to the point that he measures her waist weekly when he's fat himself) and gets upset if she even gains weight from bloating from her period; I can see why she's so messed-up.

In this morning paper I read a full page article on International Women's Day. The article talked used the words mansplaining, manslaming, manspreading and bro-opting. All in a dead serious manner.

It really saddens me to see such shit leak into mainstream society, as long as the SJW were contained online I really don't care how much they scream but when a large national newpaper runs such an article it just makes me realize that thier shit is spreading. It's not just online anymore but out here in the real world.

I don't want to live on this planet anymore...

I've kinda lost a friend recently and the more I look into it, it seems the cause might be 'Social Justice'. As I creep on my Facebook, I see posts from my friend talking about SJW-esc things. I feel as if she might have cut me off for being a whitey. And I mean like 'Aryan' white.

I've heard from another friend that she said I bitch/whine too much (Maybe?), but when I tell people that reasoning they look at me in disbelief. I'm unsure how to feel. I don't believe I wronged her in any major way, but I don't wanna believe SJW shit might have ruined a really good friendship.

Anyways, pardon my slight venting. Its just been on my mind for a while and it sucks hearing about other people losing friends because of such a reason. It's frustrating.

Yeah, it's definitely been getting into the mainstream for a while now. I now try very hard to seek out neutral news sources because I used to read liberally biased media and it's become just too SJW-heavy for me to cope with. I'm a feminist but I cannot take a single article on Jezebel seriously and have not been able to do so for years. I've noticed it creeping into my internet communities, even though the ones I'm active in are generally very snarky in nature.

I am now as wary of liberal media as I once was of conservative media. It's becoming nearly impossible to find a news source that isn't unapologetically religious/sexist or liberal to the point of constant apologetics and SJW policies.

Seriously I saw a character design tutorial that never went into anything like colour theory or anything that goes into design, just "search 25 trends men hate on women and then do all of that" or a boob guide that went into some rant about men looking at models and shit for reference because yeah, it's not like men aren't the only ones that do it wrong or that maybe they're surprisingly hard to get down properly since they're basically squishy lumps of fat...

I wanted to let eveyone know I've started paying attention to manspreading when I'm on the train.. most guys do it. and most FAT WOMEN. FUCKING FAT SHAMING!!! THIS IS THIN PRIVLEEGE!

At one point I also put to test the claim that I could put my legs together. Sure I did it but it was uncomfortable enough that under normal circumstances if I was that crowded I would probably just stand up. It was uncomfortable enough that I had to grab my crotch and stretch my nuts out when I left the train I'm sure feminists would have a problem with nut grabbing. also when I'm wearing cramped clothing tugging on my leg hair can pull the follicles open wide on my legs and let a staph infection in if I'm sweating and I'm sure without "manspreading" it would happen more

This has happened to me as well. I read a bunch of easily disprovable SJW bullshit in newsweek, huffington post, etc and it just leaves me feeling like I can't trust anyone. I've mentioned in the past that I make an effort to evaluate the logical consistency of what I read and that SJWs (and right wing news too) often manage to make statements logically inconsistent with each other and not notice.. I'm noticed this happening more and more in "liberal" news

It's such a shame that social justice is devolving into the Oppression Olympics because of this line of thought. Sure, they'll most likely end up cannibalizing each other, but I can imagine that this will ultimately hurt the social justice movement as a whole if the SJWs end up becoming the most vocal members of the movement.
