For those saying Dick isn’t trying, since he keeps getting nuked on twitter, it is harder to get guests on that don’t know him.

unfortunately many of the potential guests look at the twitter and go “nope, not enough followers” so Dick goes to the fanbase for content.

Go back to the first 17 episodes and the idea was for Dick to bring in friends from UCB and just chat about Rage stuff. Pretty basic stuff.

But then Maddox went full nuclear and Dick hit his stride. He had a focus, and the fanbase responded instantly. You can’t fault him for wanting to monetise it.

The show went from strength to strength. Madcucks, Peach, liveshows - the songs were non stop. Asterios was on a tear. The show was in the golden years.
It has started to die down, with some sniping from the sidelines, and then the mother lode hit.

So much content was had, Nick Rackets came onto the scene and we were all engrossed in it. Read docs, videos, everything. We couldn’t get enough Dick.
And then the expected happened. The lolsuit was finished.

but how do you go back to a normal life or show after that? I remember Dick saying that he felt like Frodo at the end of LOTR. How can he feel normal having gone through so much.

so Dick has coasted a bit. But it is similar to the USA once the Cold War finished. what do you do when the main enemy just disappears?

Dick is basically just hanging with the fans of the show now. When new things are tried, people hate it. When he doesn’t try new things, people attack it. The reddit post was about getting bits “you guys think you know more, submit it”

Is the show where it was 2 years ago? No. But it is still enjoyable. But I do want lolsuit 2: electric cuckaloo

The danger of doing a show about yourself is it eventually stops being a show.

TDS is going down the same way TBP did-- at some point it became less about making mountains out of molehills in a creative fashion, and more about the host and guests talking srs.

It's certainly not THAT bad yet, and Dick is not as stupid as Maddox. He can still course correct, I hope.

I'm of the opinion that Dick is a lolcow but Dax isn't.

Dick is a caricature, he exaggerates and embellishes but at the end of the day he is just a persona. Dax is the person and I'm not sure we know anything about him really.

Contrast this with Maddox. We all thought it was a persona but it isn't Maddox is just George with more backbone, he's who George wishes he could be.

I'm not against the Idea of a thread on Dick though, in case i'm way off lol

I can see the argument for Dick taking a break, but if he does that then some people will drop that Patreon support and the shekel-train is going to start slowing down and it'll probably never pick up again. It'll run out of steam one of these days anyway so why not for now keep collecting that cool $25k/mo in exchange for merely being edgy on Twitter, talking about how great Trump is and engaging with lolcows and spergs once a week on a podcast? Very easy for us to give our opinions, but that's pretty fucking good work if you can get it if you ask me. I'd grift hard so hard to keep that shit going that I'd probably start irl streaming, grow a gunt, smuckle as I repeatedly threaten public figures with rape, film myself walking around Walmart commenting on DVDs in the bargain bin and sue all my former friends and some of their associates for half a billion Dollars, if necessary. I can see how Dick is getting frustrated with trolls on Reddit, especially after putting all that work in to NewProject2 (what did you do for free speech on the Internet today?) and given how the fucking banks are fucking with his business accounts because of it, then I'd suggest that the man deserves a bit of slack cut. But yeah, be that as it may, calling the trolls "haters" is a bad look. And furthermore, The Dick Show is a show that fed the trolls from the moment the shitlord army assembled to make sure the Internet would never forget that George Ouzounian chose cuckoldry. This has been absolutely great at times but the problem with being a troll Pied Piper is that when the idiots you serve up eventually become less entertaining, some of the trolls tend to start looking hungrily at you. Maddox used to lead a legion of trolls, ready to shitpost and spam at his command, but when the trolls started trolling him, it all went wrong quickly when he started considering himself entitled to better treatment. Many such cases! And even with NP2 being something far more worthwhile than anything George ever attempted in his life, it's still the Internet and trolls are gonna troll. In the short term, Dick should probably just call in some favours and stuff the show with good guests and let them tard it out and give us something else to talk about. And most importantly of all, Dick needs to just stop going on Reddit because Reddit is cancer.
