YouTubers you hate that everyone else likes

For the pettiest and most unjustified reason, it's Cinema Wins. Not at the fault of the channel itself but people who praise and recommend that channel are often Consoomers or Soyboy wojaks who likes it when their capeshit Hollywood movies are praised no matter how mediocre it actually is. I can't hate the creator however, he seems to do things well for himself and means no harm.

It's not really limited to any youtuber or any subject but an aspect that I hate, but not dump my subscription to unless pushed to an extreme, is when they discuss a location in their hometown like some tourist pamphlet slinging shill.

Especially if it looks expensive as fuck and I don't live there, the endorsement does not apply to me. End of rant.

(e.g. Adam Ragusea, and some other person I haven't seen videos from for a long while.)

Also, what's with Macaulay Culkin plastering himself all over YT lately?
It's weird.
Is he advertising his stuff now or are you talking him trying to springboard his channel with appearing on RedLetterMedia all the time? What's even weirder is his website https://bunnyears.com/ I have no idea what he is trying to build that thing up to.

Tim Pool. He's so bland and the political equivalent of being in the closet.
Tim Pool’s twitter is at least 1.5 times more spicy than his YT channel, so I’ll give him that.

I’m wondering which one is the act.

I do get tired of his “I’m totally center left guys, but I only cover conservative talking points with deliberately clickbaity headlines” schtick.

I appreciate what seems to be a genuine commitment to covering stuff neglected by the mainstream media, but it’s less novel now that he’s no longer the only one doing it. It’s clear that most days he just piggybacks off stuff that’s already been covered in other right-wing spheres.

Dunkey. He seemingly has been trying to do the game critic route but he seems to barely know or care what he's talking about besides the very obvious. Plus his humor style is pretty obnoxious to me and he's been trying to use it as a shield in case he says anything wrong.

I second this

It doesn't help he is very misinformed on many of the things he talks about, acts like a general douchebag when it comes to his detractors, and uses other people's content whether it's videos, fanart, and whatnot without even giving credit.

Outside of the breadtubers and movie blob, I wouldn't say I hate him but Austin Evans is one of the weakest tech youtubers. Linus has made shilling ads and sponsors actually enjoyable, but seeing Evans' terrible attempt to make Stadia sound good because the video was sponsored by Google and those broke vs pro videos, it's just weak content that feels lost inbetween too techy and trying to be too personable and fourth wall breaking.

CinemaSins and Wins are two sides of the autistic coin. Superficial critcism and vacuous humour, juxtaposed with blind enjoyment.
