This video is a haul filmed from her bedroom of all places. Miah is the slave and she shows the types of garbage food she "makes" for the kids. If it can't be heated in the microwave or eaten out of a jar, well, sorry kids. Amy is probably sleeping most of the day and occasionally waddles to the microwave or cabinet to shut them kids up. Omar really shows off his aggressive side in this one and she also shows three packages of sweet treats or cookies for the babies. I think those kids would benefit from a sugar free diet.

I think the doctor gave her a variety of advice and diagnoses, which went through the Amy filter to produce this.
Dr: "Amy, you are very overweight. Your hormone levels are not normal now, but they might resolve if you lose weight."
Amy: "I can cure my thyroid by losing weight."

Either that, or her doctor told her that getting her thyroid hormones balanced would help her lose weight. Only because being hypothyroid will make you gain a little, and make it more difficult to lose weight. Amy probably conflated that with issues caused by obesity. In reality, it's not uncommon for women - even thin ones- to be diagnosed as hypothyroid in sometime between their late 20's and 40's. It's usually hereditary and basically unavoidable if your mother, grandmother, etc. have it.

I doubt amy is going to follow the synthroid directions, since it's supposed to be take at least an hour after food and pills AND an hour before food and pills. Do we think Amy will ever go two hours without eating?

She can diet herself to a size 00 and that hypothyroidism isn't going away.
