It’s hilarious that Lowtax lies about his height and weight (5’11 and 165! Lol) like a vain faggot on those reports. The only way those stats are accurate is if was taken in 2002 while Lowtax was standing on cinderblock.
All the reports are full of the cop talk saying this is an abusive piece of shit. Anyone reading this in a position to parse it will know exactly what the cops were saying.
That... that penultimate point is the most damning. Powerleveling slightly, I have personal experience with police in domestic situations. If they are actively helping one side, they have made their judgement call and its that the side they are helping is in actual danger. Not enough they can intervene as police, but enough they can intervene as a concerned party.I'm quite fascinated by the timing of events here.
What it looks like to me is that once the police saw what was going on, they intervened on Ashli's behalf and helped her get a lawyer. Ashli was able to lawyer up because Lowtax tried to get the police to fuck with her. This case is just amazing.
- On January 17th, Lowtax showed up at the police HQ to throw a hissy fit in the lobby. As an aside, this happened at 4 in the afternoon, probably because Lowtax can't be assed to get out of bed before 2:30.
- On January 21, the officer assigned to Lowtax's case proceeded to blow up phones. Ashli didn't answer her phone, perhaps being afraid of any unfamiliar phone number that showed up on the caller ID. Understandable under the circumstances.
- The officer calls Megan a few minutes later. They talk, and the officer tells Megan to reach out to Ashli and tell her to call the fuckin cops already before they start assuming shit about her because she's not answering their calls.
- Ashli calls the officer within a few minutes and states her side of the case. Amongst other things, Ashli claims to have no legal representation at all at this time, since she was unlucky enough to wind up in a shelter that doesn't offer legal assistance.
- The officer immediately calls her local women's shelter, which does offer legal assistance, then works with Ashli to get her information over to them so they can help her out.
- By January 23, Ashli has secured legal representation whose name starts appearing on her filings.

Can someone explain why/how it is that Rich's mother is the immigration "bond" holder for Ashli? What does that mean? I thought that immigration status and such had to do with the spouse? Does this mean she was dependent on Rich's mother to approve her or assist with getting her card? It wasn't up to Rich, but he still threatened to what.. have his mother ship her off?
I really don't get it. I thought it was all based on marriage, between spouses. I've watched videos about how people get citizenship and I don't recall one of the ways was by having your spouses mother be a sponsor or whatever. And thinking about Rich talking about his mother having cancer or some shit, what if his ma kicked the bucket?
I'm really confused by that last page.
Wtf is this?
Edit: and the wording "the only way [Ashli] can stay in the country is under the UVA law" or some shit? Was she never able to get her card in the first place? Rich's mother had her on a leash or something?
It means his mom is probably as much of a lying sack of shit as he is and is deliberately trying to make her look like a criminal, like she's been bonded out of prison or something, instead of just sponsored.
Unless she actually was bonded out of some kind of detention, Carol is apparently an attorney herself and knows what words mean and is deliberately misusing them.
I feel kinda bad for Ashli. She made some poor choices, but she didn’t deserve to live in an abusive environment with a deadbeat addict. She’s obviously the (only) mature one here, too. Despite it all, she still wants her child to have a relationship with her father. That’s a touching sentiment.
tl:dr belowTL;DR:
When you bring someone over on a fiancee visa, the implication is that you are going to marry them. You must prove that you have sufficient resources to provide for them, becuase your non-citizen fiancee/spouse goes on government services YOU get the bill. The bar is set at (IIRC) 2.5x poverty level.
Well, what if you are old money, where you have lots of assets with clever accounting shows you are making $0, but still want to bring over your mail-order bride for succi-succi? Fear not my nigga, they've got a loop hole for you. You just file a surety bond with immigration that proves you have enough assets that the government doesn't need to worry about bring in a welfare leech.
So likely that's what Momtax did so lowtax could bring down his totes legit canadian girlfriend.
As the petitioner, it was still lowt's responsibility to continue the process. While there are forms the immigrant has to fill out, the "heavy lifting" is on the citizen. MomTax's only responsibility was to finance leafwife in the event Dickard couldnt support her and/or pay for her ticket back to Canadia (in the event the petition was withdrawn. )tl:dr below
To follow up with my confusion:
First, let's get this out of the way, Ashli was a fuck up, I say was because she seems to be on her way to getting shit together,
Onto: does this mean it was LowT's mother (maybe only in part or something) keeping her from getting her card? Or at least, she had to work with LowT's mother to get her card?
If that's the case, since mother seems to be the "sponsor," is it a LowT "mama won't let you get a green card if you're a bitch" kind of thing, or is it still on him to fill out shit and go through the process?
I know this is kind of a dumb chat, but I just don't know anything about this stuff. I understand that there can be a joint sponsor, but who would Ashli have had to talk to and sign the forms to get her card, sponsor wise?
tl:dr Basically, aside from herself, was the one that was actually (maybe) holding her back, LowT or LowMom? And as an aside, if someone is willfully keeping someone from being able to get their card and such, that's illegal/abuse and so that's what's in place that she's using now to move forward, correct? (If it was also LowT's mom holding her back, was she not also an "abuser?")
To your second question, it depends. Was Lowts mom saying shit like "keep acting up and I'll withdraw my sponsorship"?
She said she already retaliated against Ashli by ratting her out to the immigration authorities. She didn't put it quite that way but it was obvious that's how the cops viewed it. This is exactly the scenario the VAWA countenanced when it enacted provisions against this kind of behavior, although most abusive spouses do it themselves instead of being so totally bitch-made they literally have their mom do it for them.
Lowtax thinks he's some kind of mastermind: "If it isn't me doing it I won't look bad in court - checkmate, grandma!"instead of being so totally bitch-made they literally have their mom do it for them.
