Had 6 co-workers leave early today, all of them exhibiting fever-ish symptoms. Logistics department is for the most part empty, warehouses are losing 2-3 workers on a daily basis, we'll have skeleton crews by the end of the week.
My employer and his family are nowhere to be seen, only communicating through emails and the occasional phone call. They outright refuse to close down our manufacturing plants, despite most of our suppliers shutting down for the foreseeable future.

I been using 1 normal mask throughout a clinic. instead of single use when cleaning scopes.

I’ve been in my Fuck off cabin for a while now. I keep it pretty well stocked to begin with so just had to get a few things. Shits pretty chill, just hanging with the wife, drinking shine, and doing some DIY stuff I had been putting off. Honestly, I’m more worried about the people than the virus at this point.
Not booby trap my property levels, but enough that I’m like panicy people really is the worse that can happen to me at this point. Was planning on reloading my spent brass and finally got it all finished so that’s a bonus. Been shooting mainly my 6.5 creedmoore rifle since I have the most reload bullets left over for that. Fucking Christ though I really wish people would chill the fuck out. Like, is it excessive I went up here so early? Sure, but we were planning on going anyways so we just went a bit earlier.
Honestly, I’m just hoping that people realize a few things from this - You can’t trust China, globalism is bullshit, always have some extra supplies anyways, stop eating whatever it is that makes you shit to where you go through a roll a day ffs, guns are a good thing, and maybe don’t get worked into a panic so easy?
Did I worry a bit at first - sure. I mainly live in a city though, and love coming here anyways. I love that my small home town isn’t spazzing out though. Sure, people are hitting the grocery store hardcore, but everything I’ve heard they’re still polite and actually buying not stupid shit. Probably because for most of us the closest grocery store is 45mins away so we’re all kind of used to buying bulk. Also, all it takes it for a bad storm to hit a pole and power is out for a while.
Figured this was appropriate since this now seems to be everyone’s personal blog.
Quick edit: I picked these up forever ago because of the power situation I mentioned. They’re led lamps that plug into your phone jack which is pretty nifty. Just thought I’d mention them as something nice to have if your power goes out in general.

Had a townhall meeting the other day about what is going on inside the base. 100 mile restriction on passes and leave for military (so if someone's partner wants to go across country it's okay, but not the Soldier), and apparently our base alone has over 400 quarantined.
They're setting up quarantine zones out in training areas to keep that shit from spreading in the barracks. The zones have tents set up for about 14 people who will go through the shit together and discharge once all 14 are good in order to minimize hospital strain.

Fuck China and their limp dicked communism. I would enjoy seeing them be shunned by every country after this and they become pariahs on the international stage. I hope NZ buys our water plants, property, and farms back from them. We all know they have a finger in every piece of land and natural resource around, which they then rape with no concern for the host country. They already emptied many places of vital supplies to sell back to their home country earlier in the year, leaving locals high and dry.

Funny stuff: i'm seeing reports of people getting emails about corona chan being a 1) bio weapon. 2) not a virus at all but a tool to change the goldstandard (or something) , 3) a virus to wipe out the world population.
Belgium finally has a government. It's shit tho, nothing new. We did not vote for these people and yet they took the opertunity to slide in and sit on their throne. A commity sat together all afternoon yesterday only to come out with the same measurments we already know about.
Panic now because most stores only allow a few people and you can only shop inside for 30 minutes.
I know I sound frantic but i'm glad people stocked up on everything because this is what we were afraid of anyways; the long ass lines outside.
The stores are also not working fast enough. What was empty yesterday is still empty today. This sucks.

So I went to the doctor & yep I really have the flu.
Feel like shit and staying at home for the next 2 weeks.In the waiting room I overheard the medical assistant talking to someone. She said yesterday was horrible. People became really aggressive because some didn't want to sit in the same waiting area with others who where coughing & sneezing. She says if it gets worse they have to close for a while because it's too dangerous.
Also the pharmacy I went to now has a transparent plastic sheet in front of the entire counter.
Also my boss is a fucking idiot because he said I didn't sound ill over the phone.
