It just seems like they are dancing dangerously close to the line on this. They have first amendment rights to be an asshole but this is getting to "malicious manipulation."
I would add that this type of thing has been used quite well by most dictators and other charasmatic people in history.

Doucette is so manifestly incompetent, so gargantuan and obvious an absolute loser, that nothing he says could possibly damage anyone's reputation. Throw in that he's completely judgment proof and he more or less has near immunity for consequences for any of his actions, other than the sad fact that every day until the lard in his blood congeals to solid form and he strokes out, he has to wake up and be T. Greg Doucette.
Sometimes, the worst punishment is the pain you bring on yourself. Doug Walker taught me that one.

I think the crisis just makes this all feel more "vicious". Before it was just lawyers disagreeing about a law, which is normal. This gloating about "Ty can't keep partners because incompetence" when his own firm collapsed out right bugs me more than T Greg's usual douchebaggery.

He can be incompetent and evil. Even if it is the petty evil of a low talent con man.

Ty Beard said Amazon Prime is still going to remain with Beard's firm pretty early last night while he was on for the first hour of Nicky Racket's show, so whatever the money situation was has been resolved for now, since it's always about money.
It's not always money. Well, it is, but sometimes it's also the amount of work that needs to be done.

They just closed out a major acquisition, and Vic's case has mostly been transferred over to the hands of Martinez Hsu, at least for the duration of the appeal. We don't know how many cases they might be in the process of handling at any given moment, but it's possible Ty just felt like there wouldn't be enough work in the next few months to justify keeping so many full-time lawyers on staff.

Ok I’m confused, possibly because I don’t read any other ISWV threads. Is there a storyline that has Ty’s law firm downsizing?

Some time back it changed from BHBH to BHBC (Hughes moved to another firm, and Christie got a promotion). Then recently (in the past week or so), Ty mentioned that it was going to just be BH (Bullock is changing firms, and it sounded like Ty was laying off Christie). But then in this latest stream with Nick, he said that Christie is going to stay.

Bullock was offered a spot on another firm for at least double with Beard could pay him, and Ty was genuinely sad to let him go. Ty, however, is a pragmatist and realized that it was better that his oldest friend have a source of income during COVID. Christie was going to do something similar but I guess a lot of their clients railed against Christie leaving the firm and money came in so Ty could keep her on.

I have no idea if law firm clients are like Vic's fans and ISWV supporters and would go and give thousands to a GFM or stand in line for hours, but TY's firm has everything Greg and the Threadnought could only dream of.

Well yeah. Ty's firm has actual paying clients. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

Christie was a named partner as of shortly after Sen. Hughes left the firm. I don't know if she was an equity partner, but if she would, they would have had to buy her out. She could have had an equity interest before being a named partner for that matter.

She is now listed as "of counsel," which is about the vaguest way you can be related to a firm.

I’m still chewing on Randazza and Wolman associating with such a major loser.

Randazza is a shyster of the highest order and is almost certainly only assosciating with Greg and the spednought as a hunting ground for marks. As soon as he realises they're all as broke, and financially useless as Greg, and as soon as something else comes along he can leech off I expect he'll fuck off.

Sounds like the Weeb Wars is really examining who’s truly given their heart to SocJus.

T. Greg says we're governed by morons because they won't give him any of that PPP money, even though his business was always profitable.

To the contrary, giving this piece of shit money to fail would be the act of morons. If it weeds him out, they've apparently thought it out at least well enough to skim the scum off the surface and dispose of it. This kind of money is for things that failed because of the disaster, not to prop up failures that were already too pathetic to exist before anything even happened.

The system works. Greg was probably giddy thinking about what he was going to waste his unemployment bucks on. Greg's fiancé must be the most desperate woman on earth to stick with a loser like him.

Makes sense. T. Greg had an earlier case he crowdfunded to defend some black kid with the intention of expanding some constitutional protection. So the idiot goes in there, argues some nonsense, and is promptly BTFO by the prosecution for his nonsensical and irrelevant arguments.

It's a fine example of how the Douche preys on the black community for personal gain. Kid was fucked from the minute he didn't go with the public defender and instead got the flashy "pro bono" lawyer who turned out to be an idiot.
Which case was that? The one with the kid doing donuts that he documented in a 40+ tweet chain?
