They have probably tried to mention it before; but as we've seen Chantal doesn't like to take criticism or even helpful advice - she even blocks people who have the nerve to mention the meals she eats are in such mass amount. She has admitted as a teen she was spoilt and hard to deal with, and I assume eventually her family got tired of having their heads ripped off when trying to help her, I mean this is a kid who faked a suicide attempt for attention because her mother wouldn't let her see her predator of a boyfriend. She's a spoilt, bratty know-it-all and you can't reason with her. Her language says it all, the way she says "its my RIGHT to..." or "I'm ENTITLED to...." - she only cares about one opinion, hers.

Arms confuse me. It seems that as these fats progress from morbid obesity to super morbid obesity to infinifat, their arms curl up. Can’t they keep them straight anymore? I understand there is too much in the way to reach important bits, but just standing idle their arms are always bent. Why is that?

Chantal treats any critical comment as "hate" no matter who it is from. In an old video, her grandmother was in the hospital and she went to visit her. She told Chantal that she feared for her health being concerned with the way she was eating and rapidly gaining weight. Instead of taking that comment to heart, she felt sad, hurt and betrayed that a family member would tell her something like that. That must have happened many times to no avail so they most likely just gave up.
