I agree with this and came to the same conclusion a few years ago. I believe Philip had discussed at one time of doing some sort of political centered content and there was some speculation here on what side of the isle he would fall in on. Someone dug up a video of his from years ago when he was discussing how much he had to pay in taxes after starting youtube full-time. He didn’t get into specific numbers, but he did say he had to pay a lot more as a “self-employed” “business owner” than what he had to pay as an employee for a company. He then ranted, with a straight face, that it was wrong and it should be the other way around. Employees should pay more in taxes than business owners. Naturally, I thought, “this guy’s obviously leans to the right.” But then I realized, maybe not, he’s just that fucking greedy and stupid.

I think it's more like whichever side he can pretend is the high IQ choice. He always goes for the "smart" hot take.

With Covid 19 he went with "it's not as bad as the flu", and everyone else was an idiot according to him. This is essentially what his takes always boil down to, "You're all idiots and I am far wiser!"

I do think Phil's ego supersedes his desire for money because if it didn't he'd have done a lot of things differently.

It's stated that he showers maybe twice a week, and just rubs a wet rag on himself the other days. I still think it's pretty easy to tell DSP's a naturally right leaning person. If he was actually honest about any semi-important real issue, he'd definitely come off neo-con-lite tbh. The thing is, he's an incredibly cowardly, selfish and lazy person so it's rare to ever see an honest belief or, in the rare time he reacts to something in a way he truly feels, honest reason for his belief.

Think of his reaction to various social justice issues be the extreme or mild. While it's mostly ignored, "I don't know what you're talking about"-ed, or "We got a troll cheer"-ed awa, there have been a few moments where he'll make really lame jokes at various gender politics topics (so lame I'm sure he'll finally make his first "I identify as an attack helicopter" joke in a years time). The real reason he doesn't is because he's deathly afraid of Twitch banning him. Slightly warranted topic depending, but also slight typical cowardice.

I disagree. His reactions to 'gender politics' mostly come from a place of immaturity and insecurity, not anything ideological or thought out. On the other hand some of his most long-running rants that are political involve wanting universal healthcare. That doesn't mean I think he's left-wing, but that's more substantial evidence than "hur dur pronouns."

I can't even imagine living like that. Going a day without a shower usually has me feeling skeevy, even if I'm going to be alone, let alone streaming myself to hundreds of people.

I mean, logically it makes sense. The man barely moves a muscle all day, let alone work up a sweat. So why would he need to? He could probably get away with just washing his thumbs.

Jokes aside, he should be the size of Wings, from his love of food and lack of physical activity. He must have a fast metabolism, more pigroach luck.

I really don't know how he looks himself in the mirror, I'd be disgusted with myself if I did around 200 steps a day like this prick does.

The irony is that, in a socialized system, he's in the age group that bumps him down in terms of patient priority. Plus his "occupation" contributes nothing to society, other than disgust.

Actually, medically speaking the body keeps doing its thing even during periods of rest or inactivity. The mentality of 'that's all I need' is often found in the severely depressed or mentally compromised, which is why in a lot of cases they look disheveled and unwashed.

As for his size, I can see that his diet is dangerously unbalanced, in his older videos, he could be considered 'robust', but more and more you've seen his physical state deteriorate. He has no visible muscle mass, even his moobies are hard to make out these days. If I had to make an educated guess, based solely on what I can see and what people can demonstrate about his mental state, I think he's going to be punching out for good in about a decade, provided an opportunistic disease that preys in weak immune systems doesn't swing by to say hello first.

I don't remember who asked, but someone wanted to know how much Phil had gotten in tips during the 100 vest streak. Thanks to @mollymawk, I know the streak started on March 28th. With the 100th in a row (not really, cause of that one stream, duh), he has gotten $15,119.34 in gross tips during that time. With fees and whatnot, it'll be lower, but there you go. I'll also put the tips files together later and post a list of the tippers during that time, so @MoonRocker, that should go at least partially to answering your question.

That was my impression but then there's guys like Boogie who are still around. But to be fair, they probably won't make it far into their 50s. And if they do, it will be ghastly, to say the least.
