My normal outlets are failing me in finding IC3PEAK's current discography, even the best waffle recipe site had nothing. Is SoulSeek still a viable method for looking? Been a long time since I've used it. Or are music trackers just kind of fucked now with Spotify, YouTube, etc?

Soulseek is still very much worth it, also considering IC3PEAK is a Russian band your first stop should be Rutracker. I even made a post about it in this thread, Rutracker has a great music collection:

Another great place to search for music is 4chan's RebeckaBlackTech /mu/ archive. If you input "(insert artist or album name here) mega", you can reliably find almost any album, thanks to /mu/'s users great sharethreads. Also here's a cool pastebin with a shitton of artists including /mu/core: https://pastebin.com/7Syxr4rZ
And last, but not least, Soulseek is a good file-sharing program where a lot of more obscure albums often float around. I'd recommend checking it out if you can't find an album anywhere.

I still use SoulSeek for single songs, it's kind of a pain to download entire albums on it. Ever since Oink and What.CD died, I haven't been able to find a good music tracker. I've been using Usenet for the most part.

I still use SoulSeek for single songs, it's kind of a pain to download entire albums on it. Ever since Oink and What.CD died, I haven't been able to find a good music tracker. I've been using Usenet for the most part.

The last two albums I've pirated, I've gotten straight from using a Spotify free trial and then just recorded them in audacity from a line-out from an old phone, and then cut out the tracks based on when the sonograph goes silent

It was way more effort than it was worth but I guess that's one way to do it if you really can't find your album anywhere else

I think it's come up here or somewhere on the farms but vouching that if you want to do the cytube google drive jutsu on an android phone it works if you put firefox on and tampermonkey. Obviously this will eat data if that's an issue. I haven't tried it with something stupid huge like a lord of the rings or something.

If want free YouTube premium on your phone you can download Brave for moblie go to settings and enable background video playback. Brave already comes with adblock too, so fuck google business model.

NewPipe also works if you want that but in its own app, it's in the F-Droid repository/app store

Honestly I've just broken down and torrented anything I'd want to watch and put it on my own PLEX server because I'm tired of needing eight fucking subscriptions for the 12 shows I watch. Most consoles and stuff support plex so if you can make a media server you're good to go.
