The voice actor industry isn't just based on your vocal ability, it's also based on your marketability, Rial. You are an ingredient in a product, and if you are a bad ingredient, you can ruin the whole damn thing. You have to make the fans WANT you. If the fans want you, the entire chain from local to Japan hears about it. The studios book you because fans want you. Parts are made to fit you, instead of you trying to fit the part. Scripting and editing gets better when the staff likes you. Cons treat you better when you're being a cashcow for them and stackin' those lines deep. You have to BE THE DRAW. But you can't be the draw if you're attacking existing fans and making other potential fans think you're an ass. Snide remarks to fans online wins you zero rapport. Working con tables like a cash register, just clerking people along does you no favors. At that point you're not gaining new fans, only trying to get existing ones away from you asap. This is where you and Vic have your biggest difference, you know? Personalize. He spends the time with everyone, makes sure each person has a better experience seeing a VA than seeing a Target cashier. Even going out to help other booths by doing an on the spot colab with them.

I have not seen you do squat like this. You gotta be better to the fans to get them to want you at cons and in shows. Kindness, empathy, and a listening ear cost absolutely nothing. But it has to be genuine because (people don't want to tell you this to your face but IDGAF, you don't work on my projects) you have absolutely zero lying ability. People can tell when you're not being genuine, and that hurts you the most.

The audience pays the bills. They keep the lights on, they pay the checks that HR signs. But they are not infinite, and they are fickle. You have to be a draw to get better perks, better parts, better casting, better cons, better placement for cons.
Treat everyone's fans better, they treat you better.

See, this is the thing that not only Monica nor Jamie don't understand but this extends to the Fuckimation Gang Bang from the Couch Cunts to Weebstein's Whipping Boys (Or Gay Pet Chihuahuas such as Mils, Tatum, and Ayres) who refuse to learn that being dicks assuredly won't bring in the big bucks for them.

People will spread their behavior like a wildfire similar to the rumor mill gossip spread by Consults, Staffers, and Jabberjaw about Vic for years but you won't see a single thing about these clowns regretting jumping into the fray for the Fattest Fatasses in Animu;long as they virtue signaled so good.

In my best Ken Jennings impression, Ron is clearly worried about this reply. He is trying to discredit it before most people even have a chance to look at it. This tactic may work on some people, but kiwis are a different type of person. Trying to poison our outlook on it before reading it doesn’t have the same effect. Ron is clearly trying to establish control, shocking.

Oh for sure, he's trying something here to distract? or something to that effect I assume, really its just more free entertainment for tomorrow, a nice pre show before the actual theatrics.
