Okay, I think that there are lots of possible explanations of what "God" could be. God, Yahweh, Jehovah, Jesus and countless other names are applied to a being that has no real need for a name except in how he deals with us.

For me to have the audacity to believe that I understand everything about such a being is pure arrogance. There is much that I do not know and much that is very possible.

This is why I reject certain aspects of theology, it is an attempt to try to understand the unfathomable. I respect the discipline and the pursuit, but I question the firmness and assertion of certainty of fact on a being that is far beyond what we are capable of really understanding. There are a lot of questions that I have, and I will be patient to get the answers.

I will not be placated with simple answers though. I want too much for that.

The answer I believe you are really asking me is - "Do you believe what I am telling you?"

My answer to that question is with a simple question - "Why is it so important to you that I do?"

What is your source for this? I'm looking at it now and count only 26 letters plus 11 marks that indicate vowels (You probably don't know this, but there are no vowels in the Torah -- only indicators of where the vowels should be. This is why Bar and Bat Mitzvah students study for months with a rabbi to read a verse from the Torah -- it really is that difficult.) Perhaps you mistook some of the vowel marks for letters?

By the way, I thought of a way for you to make judgements more easily. Get a toll-free number so people can call and get their judgements. I even have the perfect phone number for it: 877-25 OR 624. You see? It adds up to 704! It would be perfect for you!
