Honestly, I wouldn't put it past Cuckman to use the director's cut to make the big reveal that Abby is indeed trans so all that Abby hate is transphobic.

Cuckmann isn't the smartest man, we know this. And I can see him doing it. But surely, he would understand that people would then take that info and both crowds would run with it.

Speaking of trannies one detail of the story I didn't learn until now is that Lev kills her/his mother. What underlying theme or message is there in a 13 year old troon murdering their parent who doesn't accept their troonery? Especially one that seemingly only wants to be a boy because she was going to be a child bride against her will, which is natural in a culture with strict gender roles.

Also their cult makes no goddamn sense. So some women become warriors and some are sold off to older men? They couldn't help but even try to make bad guys more woke?

It's almost as if the writers at Naughty Dog don't fucking know how to write a story. If you gave me a month and $200, I could write a better fucking sequel.

you know if they really wanted to push a "REVENGE IS BAD" plot, could've had Ellie kill Abby at the end, leave Lev alive. Fast forward two or three years, Ellie is happy in her lesbian house, knock on the door, it's Lev with a gun, credits.

Eh, when I talk about "fixing" media and stories and shit. I tend to try and just improve on what's given, such as, yeah Last of Us 2 is a bad story. But with some tweaks here and there, it could be better. Obviously rewriting the whole thing would be better, but that's not exactly improving on what we got, that's just..something else entirely. Having Lev circle around to Ellie for "revenge bad" is better than Ellie just arbitrarily letting Abby go in my opinion.

He was PISSED when Deus Ex Mankind Divided (which took advantage of Black Lives Matter in the plot and tried to paint a world in which Augmented Humans are discriminated against) under performed, and went around blaming those that didn't buy it/didn't like it. He still does it to this day.

I've been watching some twitch streamers who only stream Uncharted/TLOU to get their views on the game. I'm not sure if it's blind fanboyism, stockholm syndrome, or both, but the majority of them love the game, even the story. I have to think that deep down some of them are just in complete denial. Blind fanboyism seems to be the only thing that explains defending a story with endless plot holes, character assassinations, continuity errors, etc.

P.S. Sorry if this has been posted already, but I love how Abby's dad magically changed from black to white in between the games.
