I don't think Thom was a pedofork, just an autistic, furry, SJW type. I'm pretty sure his motivation in protecting Nick was literally because he found Nick amusing and didn't want his personal lulz to dry up. He seems to have gotten bored with it around the time he became a tranny.

I've been following the Nick Bate thread for sometime now, but I finally decided to join when this guy got brought up. I've known of Thom for awhile, and as some background, he was apart of (or atleast associated with) "Laissez Faire", a SomethingAwful subforum shut down several years ago. It was renowned as a concentration and breeding ground for far left/SJW types (and lunatics), and it and it's offshoots being among the most dysfunctional communities in the history of SA. It's members and people they've picked up since then have been very influential in spreading SJW trash across the internet, particularly hellholes like SRS and the insufferable "weird twitter" scene. They frequently congregate in these secret clubhouse forums like wddp.org (which have been known to collapse due to infighting because of just how many crazies post on them) and on twitter in these circlejerks that revolve around their terrible ironic anime humor and the fact they unabashedly live on twitter (and in many cases their forums, to top it off- note the member to post ratio on WDDP). As horrifying as Thom's nearly half a million tweets are, there's many others like him in this scene who tweet virtually 24/7 with tens of thousands or more tweets under their belts, and many of them have "twitter jail" accounts they resort to when they use up their daily tweet limit. This is one of Thom's possibly many twitter jail accounts. I wouldn't be surprised if he culmulatively has close to 1 million tweets.

Thom isn't the worst of the LF subset (although he is undoubtedly very insane), but he's probably the most obnoxious, which really says a lot. And as awful as he is, it really struck me to first see him, sometime last year, conversing on a normal level with Nick Bate. From time to time, I'd see people openly question why the fuck he's talking to a blatant, irredeemable monster like Nick, and nearly every single time, he'd chidingly wave them off. Once, however, he actually answered someone confronting him, and he apparently acts as some sort of internet guardian to him and helps keep him out of trouble- I think in that conversation, he claimed he played a major role in informing Amber's parents of what Nick did and getting her away from him or something along those lines. Beyond that, I have no idea the full scope of their relationship, though there's comments from him on Nick's last.fm profile stretching back to 2010 or even 2009.

I decided to look around for anything more recent (last conversation I saw between them was a few months ago atleast), and it turns out Thom is aware of Nick's arrest:


The person who brings it to his attention calls Thom out on his relationship with him, and Thom, once again, basically tells them to fuck off- but also mentions how he's known Nick for a decade. Nick's online insanity stretches back around that far, and I can only imagine what he's been witness to. Out of all the discussion and material I've seen on Nick, I've almost never seen Thom's role or name pop up, and I'm really curious to see what anybody else knows or can dig up.

A: Yes, he has a nearly 10 year history of shitting up the internet, a psychological report, pictures of his fucked up teeth, and the object of his obsession, @@Ancani, confirming that he's been fucked up for a very long time and stalked her for years in these very forums.

Q: Has anyone contacted the authorities about him?
A: Yes, Anna reported him for stalking and weens have definitely called the authorities on him for molesting his sister. Unfortunately, Nick lives in Pennsylvania where it is very hard to prove abuse without concrete evidence. Those things are changing as a result of the Jerry Sandusky scandal. The worst that I've seen happen to him is that he got banned from the sped bus for a week because he was making creepy tweets about girls and was arrested and briefly institutionalized for attacking his mom for trying to cut down his internet a couple years ago. Another time he went to the loony bin for writing about his violent mass murder fantasies.

Q: Who is B-mum and Joyce?
A: The "B" is a prefix that refers to his "biological" family. He considers his "real family" to consist of some white knights named Jessa and Thom as his parents and Anna as his wife. Despite referring to Jessa as "mommy", he has solicited her for sex before on twitter. His real mother is a toothless religious nut who doesn't believe in mental illness and that Nick worships Satan or something even though Nick claims he's a prophet of God. The closest thing to a mother he has is his Aunt Joyce who provides him with an apartment, manages his finances, and keeps his internet cut down (he access twitter with his phone). His Dad smoked weed with Nick when he was very young and his mom left him for being a pothead. They have a distant, but amiable, relationship.

Q: Nick is a prophet?
A: Yeah, along with God telling Anna is Nick's wife, God commanded Nick to tell people that he has reversed his stance on the whole "sodomy" thing and that everyone should have buttsex.

A: There is some pretty freaky porn out there on the internet, which means there's a market for it, which means there are a whole lot of freaks in this world. He has photos in drag, nudes, a long documented history of being a fucking creep. I think his whole tweeting about Hitler and butts all the time is being edgy and looking for attention, but he's definitely fucked in the head. Nick is like that one kid in school who ate bugs for attention because he was so desperate he didn't care if the attention was good or bad.

Q: Did he really molest his sister?
A: He later denied it and said he was joking but who the fuck would make up a story like that? A sick fuck, that's who. (Updated: his sister accused him of being a bad touch Larry, but as of Feb 2015, nothing came out of it)

Q: Should I troll Nick?
A: From what I can tell, he is very dense and responds to most trolling with either indifference or confusion. He can't grasp why other people would think being a pedo is a bad thing and doesn't seeing anything wrong with smearing poop on his walls. It's probably a bad idea to troll him because he won't chimp out or get any sort of reaction that you're probably looking for as he's an attention whore who doesn't have any discernible emotions or conscience. He also thinks that trolls are sent after him by Anna because she tells "lies" about him.


Q: Who are Nick's girlfriends he refers to?
A: Nick has mentioned a couple of previous girlfriends other than "the wife". Girlfriend 1 was from about 10 years ago and he's been vague about her other than mentioning that she was an IRL girlfriend and may have performed oral sex on him.

Girlfriend 2 is Maddi, an underaged girl that he cybered with a few years ago. She shared a lot of info about him on one of /cow/'s previous incarnations. I'm actually surprised she has yet to appear in this thread. (Update: this is because she wants nothing to do with him, so don't bother trying to contact her)

Q: Why does Nick write spell words like "out" "oot" like he's the blackface version of a Canadian?
A: Nick has this idealized vision of Canada that it is a wonderful paradise or something unlike the fascist US where he has no freedom.. Also his internet mommy Jessa is Canadian, ergo he is Canadian.

Q: Why does Nick say "Kentucky doesn't exist!" all the time?
A: Random access humor. He is not very good at the whole humor thing being a psychopath and all.

Q: Is Nick autistic?
A: No, he just wishes he was so he could be more like Anna so she would love him, as well as explaining his antisocial tendencies. His psychology exam says that he has a personality disorder and a poor grip on reality, but no autism.

Q: Is Nick a TRUE AND HONEST woman?
A: Nick claims to be a girl and wears woman's underwear, but misgenders other transgendered people and doesn't seem to grasp the nuances of gender identities. Much like Chris, he has not had gender reassignment surgery and probably never will since he is revolted by vaginas. Some speculate it's because he's trying to impress Anna since she is a lesbian, but he's been crossdressing long before Anna came out.

Q: Why is Nick revolted by vaginas?
A: He's not revolted to ALL vaginas. Only when women hit "puberty" and they "open up", which is why he identifies as a "pedosexual".

Q: Is Nick going to jail?
A: Who knows? Most likely. Child protective services has determined that he has abused his sister. This will at the very least keep him away from her through some sort of restraining order. Considering he allegedly sent a detective a video of him jacking off with his shit, he could be jailed for that. It will be a lengthy process and the cops need to gather enough evidence to nail him with a guilty verdict. Be patient.

His role in all this is still kind of a mystery to me though- regardless of the steps he's taken to help protect Amber and do something about Nick's behavior, associating with him on this level is really, really questionable and bizarre (which is fitting, since Thom is absolutely horrible even aside from this), I don't think I've come across anyone else in the original thread who's tried to do something about him yet communicates to him in such a passive, even friendly fashion. It'd be great if anybody else could shed light on this angle, but I doubt Thom would be willing to share much openly (plus that would entail talking to him).

Also, note how Nick doesn't deny he was a danger to Amber and that moving would protect her.

I'd say that it's a huge understatement to say that he's an "at risk" offender. I'm surprised that he was in a classification unit as long as he was. I checked online to see what unit he was in a few times yesterday and he was in a classification unit for a lot longer than I figured he'd be, just on account of his offences.

Here, any sex offender is automatically flagged when they get to Admission & Discharge in Ontario correctional facilities and they're whisked off to PC. The COs in A&D do a pretty spot-on job of quickly assessing who should be in PC and whether they should go to what the offenders call "Super PC" (where the inmates that get into a lot of "drama" go) or what the offenders sometimes call "Deep PC" (where the sex offenders, rats and other undesirables go), to the psychiatric unit or to the segregation unit, if they're especially high-profile or at an extreme risk.

As a side note, I don't really know why the offenders call it "Super PC", I guess because it's not unlike the mainline units (lots of fights, no rats, no sex offenders, no elder abusers, no weak offenders, etc). It's an odd choice of words since to the rest of us, "Super PC" can refer to the Super Protective Custody units at some facilities.

In the Federal system (sentences of 2 years or more), things are done a bit differently and offenders in the Ontario region go to the Assessment Unit (MAU) at the lovely Millhaven Institution for a while. Even then, if they're an offender that's at a high risk of being attacked and/or preyed upon by other inmates, they're taken straight to Ad Seg/Special Needs. The inmates are pretty vicious in places like Millhaven and would tear someone like Nick to shreds, both figuratively and literally.

If the offender is flagged for whatever reason or has previously been in a PC unit anywhere in the provincial system, they automatically go to PC any time they're housed in a provincial facility. I don't know how they do things in Nick's jurisdiction, but I'm surprised that he wasn't flagged and sent to PC or Ad Seg from the get-go. He's literally the perfect target for any predatory inmate.

@Shovel Mick , if you could shed some light on how the county jail works in your jurisdiction, that would be great.

A small, selfish part of me wishes he were being prosecuted for stalking me as well, but what matters in the end is that he gets put away for a long, long time.

Depending on whether it constitutes evidence or is somehow admissible, the prosecutor might want to introduce stuff at the sentencing phase indicating Nick is an ongoing threat to the public, not just the victim in this case.

There's also sometimes a part of the penalty phase where victims can give impact statements about the perp. This is also relevant to sentencing.

Obviously, this would involve actually showing up. If you want to, consider calling the DA who has been mentioned in the stories. They might or might not be interested.

I wouldn't worry about it too much if you don't want to, though. Pretty sure this walking disease is going to be sent away a long time regardless. Do it if it would make you feel better about being subjected to this creature for years. There's a division of the DA's office specifically for victims/witnesses.

American correctional facilities are fucking barbaric. As much as you'd think it would be obvious someone like Nick would get his ass beat the second someone was alone with him, they generally wait until something actually happens, often even if the prisoner requests protection.
