I share the same opinion in that I sometimes feel like I'm coming down too hard on the kid. It's mostly me being aghast and disgusted by bad parenting and awful decisions. I'm very protective of kids and vulnerable people and to see Jazz turn from an innocent kid to a stunted blob really gets me riled up. Seeing the media parading the family around like a sideshow is even worse.

Truly, I want the very best for Jazz, even if it sounds like I'm being harsh. While it's fun to laugh at Lynchian nightmares and shit all over Jeanette and her ego, I don't want to watch Jazz suffer. Yeah Jazz is a brat. But he's not malicious and he doesn't jump into stupid shit with the intent on hurting people. He genuinely thinks he's helping and was brainwashed into all the typical talking points. Had Jazz been an adult when he transitioned, I wouldn't have thought twice about it and would be happy for him if it was what he really wanted. Trans people are not the issue here--it's when you target vulnerable confused kids that need time to figure things out instead of acting rashly.

It just makes me sad. I'm hoping for a happy ending when I know it won't happen.

I hope she can find walt heyer and his supporters. He went thru the gender change and then changed back. He has a ministry that supports people who regret their surgery and supports them. it tells of 3 men who had the surgery and regretted it. They all now know that they have mental issues, sexual abuse, etc that affected them greatly and caused them great pain and mental anguish. They are very articulate and honest. I wish them the best. I hope jazz can find them one day and get the help she needs.

"The Russians hate trans people, so they found self hating trans people to create propaganda!" Or something like that. It's a rare look at de-transitioners, though, so it's worth a watch. It's less than 30 minutes long too.

I really feel for de-transitioners. A lot of them realized too little too late that they were indeed their birth sex and were just gender non-conforming or confused. A good reason why I'm so concerned for the well being of gender non-conforming boys and girls. They have no chance if this is the cult(ure) they're being indoctrinated into by their narcissistic parents and/or AGPs. For people that claim to challenge gender norms, they sure are as sexist as fuck.

Will Jazz de-transition? Dunno. Probably not. If he's aware that something horrible happened to him, he's trapped in his narc mom's house and won't be able to do anything about it. Not a scenario I'm envious of.

Those kinds of comments give me a brain aneurysm, regardless of whether its lgbtbbq vs russians or red team vs blue team or turds vs douches, etc.
Criticism from "the opposite end" isn't a bad thing, most professional criticisms are descriptive and will sometimes list out what they did right. Even if the criticism is 100% negative, just bear it- rewrite what the critic said in your own words and go from there.
If its one thing I wish more normals would embrace is criticism and recognizing that there can be a healthy assertive approach in changing yourself without becoming someone you aren't (or realizing that no human bean is perfect- but that's okay because the shitty days makes us enjoy the better days more )

I don't think so. A Biden presidency would be worse because he's an empty suit who'll try to normalize this more. To appease the far lefties, he'd appoint at least 1 person who's crazy enough to try and implement woke shit. It doesn't matter which department it is, it'll happen. Heck, his VP could be someone like that. It's the leftist equivalent of letting Sarah Palin within spitting distance of the White House.

In order for this to go away, this stuff needs to become so far gone that it alienates Joe Sixpack and Dewayne Newport. Definitely, especially when it trickles down to the lower-middle-class normies like you said--but I do think some freaks find less of a "thrill" when authority starts to embrace them and pander to them. That's why some here have speculated that the next goalpost for subversive weirdness and non-conformity is flagrant pedo acceptance. Considering that trans activism actively tries to frame child abuse as a "therapeutic" option while exploiting vulnerable and impressionable young people, that may not be too crazy.

I don't think there needs to be an optimistic rainbow for this post because that's how it's most likely going to end. An expert endocrinologist who fights against the transing of children said in an interview that just like the lobotomy horror (which went on for 40 years) the transing of kids is going to end when too many people are harmed by this madness.

It wasn't so much to do with the topic of the book but it showed how cult like and vicious the supporters of this BS can be to young girls who dare show independent thought.

It was over boys being allowed in the girls bathrooms and locker rooms.
Nevermind that the kid that all the sudden needed access to the girls rooms was a less charismatic version of The Good Son.

This was right after orange man was elected and teachers went into rabid overdrive...girls your voices should be heard, speak up if you see a wrong.

So a few girls did.

It was disturbing to see these same adults tearing down these girls.
Telling them they were wrong, they were bigots, that the only problem was THEM and not the boy who had a long history of acting inappropriately.

It was especially insane because the most rabid (actually yelling at girls aged 12-14 and their mothers) was a male school board member who left teaching under a likely story and somehow managed to end up on the school board.
Never mind he is now dating a former student but that's a-ok because she is over 18.

I truly don't "love" to compare any of this crap. It's all ghoulish and sad, but the comparisons between practices like lobotomies and these current mutilations are apt in the sense that the psychiatric/medical community actually endorses them.

I will concede that this trans stuff is going to be trickier to separate from since it involves so much more than just a "nervous breakdown"/severe depression/psychoses (what would have been considered pathological events and extreme emotions in need of remedy) and targets people's core identities and grip on reality in every possible way. Trans activism is probably more of a hydra in a hyper-liberal, LGBTQ-loving society where social mores have greatly shifted to "do whatever the fuck you want, whatever makes you feel good."
