That's OK, I wasn't really hungry for lunch anyway.

I just had a thought - the time since Nick's arrest seems to have flown by (at least to me), but I'd imagine that to Nick, it's been a lot longer.

The farms could pay for server costs by packaging up some of the best Nick pictures, posts, and concepts and marketing it as the "Nick Bate Diet: Guaranteed to curb your appetite!"

I hope he suffers from serious constipation. Hehehehe

At least someone in Lancaster county has picked up the mantle of poop smearing now that Nick's been arrested.

Maybe someone wanted to make a tribute to Nick, I suppose.

I noticed that Internet Insanity collected Nick's postings about how much he hates to shower. How can a person HATE to shower? I mean, I know that people who are depressed sometimes don't shower often, but that's more of a case of not having the energy, or the motivation (and it's usually lack of motivation to do anything, not just lack of bathing). This guy actually finds bathing unpleasant. I love taking showers. (I guess I'm some kind of freak, I just love water)

According to google searches, inmates are generally made to shower everyday, at least every other day. He's going to be miserable! HA HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

I wonder how you go through life not knowing how to shower. Like, saying you don't like showers is one thing...but saying you don't know HOW to shower is some other strange weirdness that I'm failing to comprehend. There are half a million tv shows and movies that have a shower scene which alone should be enough of a demonstration of how the process works.

Nick seemed to take a perverse pleasure in being absolutely disgusting to a subhuman level. This just seems to have been yet another way he was an utterly repulsive piece of shit with no redeeming features.

I worked in an outpatient clinic for dialysis patients for a time. We had one patient who refused to bathe. Didn't like it, he said. It got so bad that you could literally smell it when he entered the building. We eventually had to get adult protective services involved.

Nick should have had APS called on him a long time ago, but I much prefer him being in jail.

My one regret is that I can't rate this horrifying.

Someone should mail him a copy of Everybody Poop, edited so it claims that nobody poops, and that since his incarceration, feces has been erased from existence entirely.

To really break his brain, insist that everyone else has given up the habit of "butt-pinching the brown bread dough"....except in Kentucky, where the keep doing it out of pride and tradition.

Chris is tormented by The Pickle Man. Nick is tormented by Mister Bubble.

Nick claimed to have ablutophobia, which is the fear of bathing. Perhaps a bit surprisingly, this is an actual phobia...but it's only really common among very young children, and my understanding (which is admittedly limited; if someone who knows anything about this kinda thing can chime in that'd be swell) is that in adults it's generally trauma-induced. And in adults there's often a great feeling of shame attached to the phobia, which Nick completely lacked.

(But no, you're far from a freak, @Mrs Paul--showering and bathing are both so refreshing, and one of the things I miss most about my old apartment was the nice clawfoot tub! I loved taking long hot soaks in that thing. <3)

Fear of showering in adults comes from childhood trauma. It's because a lot of molestation happens in the shower or something like that.

Which begs the question, was Nick Bate himself molested and is this why he's such a fucking creep?

What about the fact that he refuses to wipe his ass? I think the answer to both is "Nick is just a filthy nutjob".

I used to work on a psych unit for juvenile sex offenders. Out of 30 patients, only 5 weren't sexually abused themselves. I'd say odds are good that Nick was molested by someone either in his family or close to it. Of course, it's also possible that he's just a sick fuck who got off on forcing himself on someone who couldn't stop him. Even if he was molested, it in no way excuses what he did.

I don't think it's a matter of excusing him; it's more like, trying to get a better understanding of how he got the way he is. Inquiring minds and all that.
That's an interesting observation about the psych kids, and that you think he was probably molested himself. I've wondered about that possibility.

I have a BA in psychology. That's not enough to diagnose people, but it gives me a background enough to say with some confidence that Nick didn't "get" this way. He's always been like this. He has schizotypal personality disorder, which means he's not really connected to reality, and personality disorders by their very definition do not respond to treatment. He may or may not have been molested as a child, but the fact remains that he lives in his own world, and no force on this Earth can drag him out of it.

Food in correctional facilities, while shit quality, often lacks fiber. Sick Nick will likely not have to go for a month. I did 22 days for possession because our justice system hates pot smokers*. Didn't have a bowel movement until day 11.
(*: also really hates black folks.)

Jesus, that's like that scene in Menace 2 Society. 11 days? Two weeks can kill a person. Generally you're going to feel horribly sick by the 5th. I don't know how you did it.
