The problem with leftists is some of them absolutely know how to be funny but none of them know how to keep their politics completely out of their work. Snapcube, the guys who did HL VR AI, Salty. I guess quinton too, in the sense that people liked him before he tried to make everything political. Even at his arguably best he still gives you material to rip on him. He already has more pages than Hbomb and is on pace to get as many as Contra and notable CA spergs in about half the time despite being an even least important version of Big Joel. Before this thread he didnt got even one mention, even in Mumkeys thread.

Like I’ve mentioned before, nothing about this guy feels genuine. Even his attempts at trollbait come off as manufactured sludge seeking any sort of attention.

I rewatched his Fallen Titans video on CA, which was the first thing I saw from him. Knowing nothing about him at the time, I thought nothing of it. Rewatching it with the knowledge of who he is, it comes as no surprise that he mostly complains at CA’s treatment of females. That’s the best way to spur outrage - and get noticed by them.

You look at Chinese media and even old shows and books from the USSR back in the day, and it's a good laugh, not necessarily political though sometimes it is, mostly it's just banter or decent comedy. Chinese communists even have a word for these sanctimonious types, "baizuo" (literally "white left"). It basically means the same thing as "bluepilled SJW virtue signalling cuck" but it's coined by the Left. Not even actual leftists like Breadtubers.

The Red Chinese aren't really that left wing anymore except by technicality, TBH. Sure they have fedora atheism as an official policy and their brand name is communism, but they're very capitalistic and rather nationalistic in practice. It's not surprising that they'd resent some western leftists telling them they need more black people and Muslims in their media or whatever.

But yeah, virtue signalling culture, at least the extremes we see it taken to today, is largely something that originated in the west. That's probably a consequence of both the rise of social media and the western left's inability to force conformity through the state. They lack the means of setting up a formal social credit system, so they created an informal one. Since they can't subject everyone to as much scrutiny as a surveillance state could, they create an environment where everyone needs to loudly share their politics or be an object of suspicion instead.

I'm sure I don't need to tell anyone what Garfield Eats is but I still think is important to mention the man behind it all. Meet Nathen Nazri, an arabian-canadian writer, producer and entrepreneur. If Mazri is from Dubai I'm going to assume he's rolling in oil money. Suddenly Garfield Eats makes a lot more sense. It's less of a dumb career and life savings gamble and more of a quirky hobby for someone with money to burn.

Quinton is being awfully vague here, but saying it was about "the war between the Arabs and the Jews" makes me wonder if Mazri made some spicy comments about Trump's chosen people that could get him cancelled by some very powerful people if they decide they care enough.
