Netflix's "Cuties" - The Preteen Sexual Objectification Equivalent of "Funny Games"

From movie's trailer yt video:

I've been warning this for years, progressism is only great at a certain time. Progressism will eat itself in the ass, Pedophilia will be normalized by the end of this decade.

To be fair it would create another schism and push even more people away, because a lot of SJWs are still anti-pedophilia.

But Progressism is a self perpetuating thing so it's literally only a matter of time until they would do that, there's always got to be a new sexual minority to prop up.

One should literally not put anything past the left anymore, there is no such thing as "too absurd" anymore, everything is a possibility.

Given that they’re getting assblasted on twitter I’d say the normalization campaign has failed. Big Mouth could hide behind the “its about puberty” excuse but this show cant
big mouth also has no actual children involved. its just a shitty animation style and greasy degenerate actors.

So all Epstein had to do was say it wasn't prostitution, it was just a cooming of age drama.

Well you see it depends on the child *smug chuckle*

On another note or two or...however many

1) Since when did coming of age stories ever involve pre-teens? Seriously, that's news to me.

2) Just why? Seriously, of all the things Netflix could produce, they chose to get behind this and pretty much out of the blue it would seem. They couldn't even be bothered to warn the public at large by saying : Hey, we've been approached to produce something that's probably going to get us a lot of flak FYI. Come on. Of all the times these people chose to take a "risk", this is the "risk" you want to take?

3) Eff Masterson and his retarded one trick pony contrarian antics. For someone who styles himself as a "comedian" he seems pretty oblivious in reading the room. It's sort of like point #2. Of all things to stand behind or make a "joke" about, this is what you choose to do it on. Not making fun of Biden, mask mandates (you think he be all over that considering the state he lives in), etc.

I don't understand it. I don't understand how progressives can shriek "protect wahmen" in relation to something like MeToo and then call something that sexualizes the most vulnerable a good thing. That goes beyond 2 + 2 = 5. And I don't even want to think about the rationale behind why that's being done.

I get the feeling the trailer may of been purposely edited to generate a hate mob, and get a lot of interest. Only for it to turn out that it was misrepresentation and the film doesn't actually condone that behavior.
I recall a disney channel cartoon that covered the same topic, a group of girls end up on TV in a music video doing risque (at least for what disney channel could show) and their parents find out about it.

Nah, Italians are wise guys. Everyone knows that.

Ehhhhhhhhhh! *gestures wildly*

Part of this may be simple contrarianism, they simply take the opposite stance of whatever the right does.

If right leaning people were all for watching the Cuties dance, they'd be against it, but because the right is against it, they're fine with it.

A (very left wing) friend on Facebook posted about how gross this shit is, and someone replied to her about how twerking is part of African American culture and criticizing this movie gives it an "unnecessary stigma"

I have no words
Heh, you know, this made me remember those “24 questions for white people” videos from buzzfeed, where one of the people asked “Do you think Miley is the one who created twerking? Really?”

It’s like, how the fuck is knowing the origins of a stupid dance move going to help with race relations or whatever?

It’s not just the arm.

Also, here’s what the French poster looks like.

So at first I was dismissing this controversy as the French just being French. But looking at the Netflix poster and title vs the original french makes me wonder what the people at Netflix really saw in this movie. I'm not as hostile to this movie as most are, but if this is how its being promoted to the English speaking world, which is already more sensitive to children being sexualized than the frogs, then I can't blame people for blowing a gasket.

Plot synopsis said:
In the girls' bathroom, they talk about sex and watch porn, but they do not understand what it means.

When her cousin finds out that Amy has stolen his smartphone, she tries to expose herself in front of him so that she does not have to give it back to him
The girls "do not understand sex and porn" yet they understand enough to use sex to get they own way. Such an inspirational story.

Oh yes, such proud cultural traditions like looting, smoking crack, and spreading AIDS while on the down low.
