No joke. He is engaging his audience at thier level.

If Wings gets the amount of chargebacks he claims and still has a paypal account, then Darksy's account should be fine.

I do remember there being a $25 fee for chargebacks that were waived during the pandemic but I could be wrong. @LyteSydeByll do you have any info related to the $25 fee for chargebacks? Is it $25 per chargeback?

I mentioned it way earlier in this topic, but waiving the fee for chargebacks was for a brief period in time, somewhere between late April to sometime in May or something like that. I don't have the exact dates at the top of my head atm. It was meant as a counter to potential delivery issues when the pandemic was new enough for the delivery business to cope with,

The fee happens if the chargeback is succesful. PayPal loses the amount for processing a chargeback, and then takes it from the losing party to cover the process. I can't speak for how often a chargeback is succesful from a bank's POV because I've never worked for one, but I would be willing to bet that the highest chance of winning one is if you can prove that the transaction was truly unauthorized. The final decision of the outcome will always be with the bank. The seller, Phil in this case, would always be asked by PP to provide some evidence as to what happened, and as far I'm aware (I've not specifically worked chargebacks) this information is then given over to the card issuer.

Filing a dispute against Phil through PayPal itself would be practically pointless at this point. Again the safest chance for winning would be if it can be proved that the payment was unauthorized. PayPal will at this point have looked at Phil and made a note of his business as a streamer, and that will be taken into consideration if a SNAD (significantly not as described) or NR (not received) claim is opened within PayPal's system.

Let's say that OIC wakes up from his retardation and decides to file a claim within PP for some of his whailings, claiming that one or more of the payments were unauthorized. The proserv agent responding to it will look at OIC's history and see that he's been sending fat amounts to this retard for several months, on a regular pattern. "If these payments were wrong, what about these previous payments? And Burnell Productions (or whatever he's called now) is a streamer? Denied, fuck off." OIC loses the claim. Same thing happens if it's reported that you bought something and didn't get what was promised, which is trickier when it comes to streamers.

Generally a streamer will just need to prove that the money wasn't sent as a payment, and that you're not entitled to anything. That's why most streamers will have some sort of disclaimer or note of that regard. So if you want to fuck with Phil, don't do it internally through PP. Phil will be put in the red if a chargeback is issued with no funds in his balance, yes, but he's not likely to lose his account unless too many chargebacks are succesful reguarly.

Surely if someone was getting legit chargebacks left and right paypal would just ban em after a couple of times so they didn't have to deal with em.

Sure, but it's on a bigger level than the Superhound faggot filing five in one day, or if it's one or two every other week or whatever. From as far as I know it's not super common.

EDIT: Superhound wasn't the chargeback guy, my bad.

Chargebacks are the new detractor boogeymen. He doesn't have to prove that he received any chargebacks so he can use this as an excuse to bait for sympathy tips like he did on Monday when he mentioned being in the red in his Paypal account and not being able to afford groceries.

I am patiently waiting for the day where a random stream is really slow so he just randomly mentions a chargeback to try to prime the whale pump. Right now, he mentions chargebacks on Twitter and prestream. It won't be long before he goes something like. "Okay, we have an hour left on the stream and we are at $8 towards the goal so we have a long way to go. This really sucks because a chargeback came in between streams and I was hoping to hit the tips goal to counteract this bullshit chargeback. Ladies in Gentlemen, BeastBod tipped $92 and said fuck those chargebacks Phil."
His problem is that he's played that flex before and showed the alleged chargebacks.
Oh, and proof again the faux streak ended long ago. Hi Phail!

Happy 6000 streak, filthy fucking detractors.

he's going give some boomer story about where he was during 9/11 and how difficult it was in America and etc. Basically act like an expert and talk as if he's talking to people who have no idea what 9/11 is.

He's going to have been at ground zero. He WOULD have helped get people out of the rubble, but his back and his post nasal drip just made it impossible. If he'd been flying that plane though, those dumb shit terrorists would never have gotten into the cockpit.

His improvements were...nothing? How does replacing a piece of furniture = an improvement? How does not having a vest streak = an improvement?
Phil lives in such isolation, he probably thinks going on break = an improvement.

(Also, happy 6000 everyone!)
d00d he and his thumb cleaned the whole office! the improvement is that he won't be getting ear gout again and thus wont have to take days off. he'll be around 6 days a week to take your money!

Am I missing something, or are the only changes/improvements a different seat and $50 Glasses Goal?
This goes to show just how much of an egocentric faggot Phil is.

The world revolves around him, so much so that he conflates "things good for Phil" with "things good for the stream/my fans".

The same idea is seen in many other aspects of his life, e.g. the "reward" of the streaks being him eating fast food, or the fact that he equates a stream with massive contributions with a "pahsitive schtreem".

Has Phil ever done anything remotely good for his viewers? Like donating subs? Playing a co-op game with them?

It seems to me like he sees himself as a celebrity. I mean, watching a guy like Elon Musk play Dark Souls would be fun, even if I had no interaction with him. But it's Elon Musk. Phil is a nobody, but he still sees himself as above having to engage with his audience more than as a showman.

He played Apex Legends with viewers about year and a half ago. And unsurprisingly, the people he played with (Kekon and Brian) were more entertaining than Phil, so that definitely wasn't going to be allowed. Then Luther Kujo showed up and that was probably the final straw. No more co-op since then.

And the only other recurring thing that you MIGHT consider co-op would be him allowing Papavera into his minecraft shit to build stuff for him.

So this happened

He then puts the vest on, and pretends it didn't happen, he then puts Rob on the leaderboard and says its the first tip.

Am I high, was the tip fake, or is phil retarded?

He goes through the tips/cheers/subs in order that they come in during prestream, so if Rob tips five to start tipping, Rob gets put there first at five until he gets to a later tip larger than that, repeat until he hits the $100 troll tip and then press x on his part but still honor it because he's not 100% sure if it's legit or not and sides on the part of benifit of the doubt so he can fight the incoming chargeback as well as he can when it hits later on his day off.

i feel like it should be backwards though, wonder if his browser history has hulk hogan dildo on it :v

i just gave the link cause the insert image wasnt working for some reason

Try taking the 'i.' out of the url next time and see if it won't work?

Superhound is a suspect as the chargeback gayoperator last I recall, in fact a prime one. 6K pages may make this the longest uninterrupted thread on kiwifarms, so I raise my  in toast to all of you to commemorate that achievement.

Weren't both of those mods? Or just Kekon was a mod?

There are so many games he could play with his subs, like that "Among Us" that's been pretty hyped lately.
