I'm respectful of people's experiences and boundaries except where they encroach on others in meaningful, hurtful ways.

You are?

I'm even okay with CWC lolcow stuff, as I've followed it for years, as long as there are boundaries. i think it's okay to have a bit of fun with the stuff people like CWC say, but this thread is filled with outright transphobia and ableism, which is not cool.

You should have lurked before you joined. If you did, you'd know that if you stop providing us with material by stopping your posting and setting your social media accounts to private, your thread will wither up and die, because there won't be anything to laugh at.

Tl;dr, you're wrong.

"Setting social media accounts to private"

Actually i shouldn't have to do anything. This is the "dress modestly or you risk being raped" sort of argument. It's victim blaming. It's your responsibility how you treat others. "But it was publicly available" isn't an excuse if you still use that info in a manner you know hurts someone.

This is what's called the logical fallacy of appeal to consequence where you declare a particular mode of action incorrect because of an (artificial) consequence that doesn't rationally follow.

Also, at least one of the statuses reposted here was only shared with my friends and Chloe/Rani's friends, so clearly even that isn't enough for you guys.

By all accounts the others on this forum fit that criteria more than I do. There are numerous rather incredulous justifications as to why it's acceptable to abuse people who already have more than enough to deal with. I don't fit any psychological/psychiatric definition of sociopath at all.

I'm respectful of people's experiences and boundaries except where they encroach on others in meaningful, hurtful ways.
I still don't believe you're actually Leighanna but I'll indulge you for one moment: The reason you have so much to deal with (again, assuming you are actually Leighanna) is because you do stupid shit like this, right now, and attract the attention of people that know they can easily rustle jimmies.

If you act like a dumbass online, people are gonna mock you for it. Just like they would irl. How is this so hard to understand.

For the longest time, there were no safespaces for trans people, autists, minorities, abuse victims etc... then as soon as you get places like tumblr, they become this enormous bogeyman attacked by forums like this.
I think "safe spaces" are the problem. People being constantly patted on the back despite their idiocy is what creates most of the lolcows in the first place. The worst part is that they're completely oblivious to what they're doing.

Let's take you for example. Believe it or not, there have been lots of people in the thread who are being very honest with you, trying to call attention to what you've been wrong. Because you're so used to the "safe spaces", you see those posts as attacks because they're far more blunt than what you're used to. When you're done here, you'll likely retreat back to your safe space where people will pat you on the back and tell you that everyone here was mean to you.

I know you'll never understand this, but although we're here to have fun at the expense of people making asses of themselves, there are a big chunk of people who would be more than happy to see you gain some self-awareness so that you don't keep making a laughingstock of yourself.

Because trans people and autistic people never have it hard right out of the box? Plus, I'm not to blame if other people decide to "Rustle my jimmies". They have personal autonomy and responsibility.

It's amazing, if I say things like this it's a hasty generalisation or something of the sort. But you can make all sorts of victim blamey assumptions about people and their histories and be lauded for it.

I think this is a pretty good bottom line for me to have vs. yours to be honest. This forum needs to admit it has a responsibility in how it treats others instead of inventing all this nonsense and going against basic psychology with regards things like suicidal behaviour. All of these posts are backtracking from defending your entitlement to abuse people like me.

And that's pathetic tbh.

What you put online publicly is public information. Any consequences are the result of he who made it public in the first place.

Well, someone really dun goofed then.

No, actually we are saying "Actions have consequences" and if you make something bad, bad things are going to happen, see how simple it is?.

There is a clear difference between a woman being told she could prevent something that she really couldn't, and actually doing something to prevent an unwanted outcome on the internet. It really isn't victim blaming if the victim was a willing one, which is not the case for rape. You have quite the audacity to compare your online activity to a serious traumatic act done to a defenseless person.

The fact is I don't fit the box that this thread is trying to put me in and I'm being targeted currently for my status as an outspoken, neurodivergent trans woman. If it wasn't for these things, I would not be on your radar. I wouldn't be interesting enough to warrant an ED article.
Making a specious statement isn't the same thing as an argument. Insulting us for responding to you isn't either.

Oh, also, someone just handed me a term. "useful idiot". That describes most of the people on this forum. You might not consider yourselves transphobic, but you are useful idiots to those who are and wish to see that idea forwarded. This goes double for the actual trans women here.

Look it up.

Spend some time on this site:

All of your arguments can be found here, with a sarky explanation as to how you're wrong.

Toodles for now, ducklings.
