@Cowlick isn't even attacking us .... he's just misquoting and changing quotes to make weird sentences that he then comments on. It's like he wrote a status on facebook, liked it, and then commented on it too.

The fact that Church thinks he's smart because his mother told him he's smart is like Chris saying he knows he's handsome because his mother told him so.

Mom's say things so their child doesn't feel bad and off themself (most of the time). Personally, my own mother has been brutally honest with me since day 1. I think if all the lolcows parents had been honest with them from day 1, they'd be half the fuck-ups they are now.

Or for another example, if Holden's parents had just told him to stay off the internet, don't stalk girls, and taught him how to be happy on his own.... he'd be living the life right now.

That was his most recent strategy. Before that, it was more of an actual attack.

Or if they had friends over, they would have had the milestone where the manner in which their mothers delivered these comments embarrassed them, and subsequently talked to their mothers about not doing it so much. That's a great way to get mom to ease off, at which time they lose the reality buffer.

In Holden's case, I think he was fucked no matter what. He has to be damn gullible to believe that society acts in a specific manner just because he sees something once. My cursory glance of the Croatian language reveals there are oddities in the language that, like most other languages, proves sometimes the basic structure isn't adhered to (similar to how the past tense of the English "run" is "ran" instead of "runned"). Throw in his understanding of English, fragile as it is, and this is basically the first proof a small child receives that one incident doesn't necessarily represent the norm, nor does it necessarily represent a constant. Holden, however, seems to have never applied this lesson outside of this field, as he insists a single situation outlines 100% of similar experiences. That can't possibly scream "this child was fucked" to only me.

Quit being a sped, TJ. He said "picks up to torch", which is obviously a typo and you didn't even copy/paste that to be correct. Notice that I bolded the "s" that you forgot. :geek:

1: His error is no worse than yours. This is deflecting, not proving you are correct. I call Bullshit on your bullshit.

2: While quoting someone else's error you made an error. Also, lets not forget all the other errors you make that we point out to you. Like when you said anypne. That's my personal favorite.

There are just some things you will never have full control over, like whether companies want to record your phone calls or not. That's life. Once you accept that proposition and come to the conclusion that your thread can still fade into complete obscurity, you should eventually forget about it and move on.

I kept telling him about Shaner and his horrible writing style and how his efforts would be better off trying to teach him a lesson in that thread but he thinks that posting in the Marjan thread is gonna get him ahead. I just don't get it.

Actually, you had a lot to do with the wiki page. Said page wouldn't have been made if you hadn't provided content for it. And if you want to blame the thread, then as we explained before, all you had to do was PM Null and respectfully request he delete your thread for the reasons you've listed. Or, better yet, you could have been respectful to people on CHYOO and thereby not motivate someone to make the thread in the first place. As such, the threads's continued existence is entirely your own doing, making everything that followed from it your handiwork.
