The issue with stickers for many people is how the internet functions as a form of social proofing and signalling in and of itself. People look for shortcuts that make distributing their focus easier so they (always wrongly.) feel like they don't have to do research on every statement they advocate for and then you get crowds marching behind a statement or general idea without necessarily looking to validate it firsthand. Blah, blah, we all know this shit. The Patriots, whatever.

But it's why I pretty much look to Jim as a good example of how you should indulge yourself online apart from how he's an angry (albeit entertaining) troll. The more of you (as in who you actually are) that submits to the mess that is the internet the more you may never get back. You really can't compartmentalize things. Their stupidity isn't buying into the stupid shit like stickers, although caring about it is dumb yes. The real mistake is buying into the internet's stacked game from the outset and playing it like jewish data aggregates would like you to. It's an easy one to make.

Not giving a shit is easy, tbh.

I'm not even racist offline but I like an outlet and to talk what's on my mind sometimes, though I've voted right most every time since the overton window went rolling down a hill. Imagine if your family knew you said the n word, you know? Small example but you get what I'm on about.

They believe as if the sticker should be the signifier of their opinions and viewpoints and nothing more. But they grow increasingly dissatisfied with the idea that LOL IT'S JUST STICKERS. Well obviously, the person using those ratings rated the person's response with the sticker, the sticker being the thing that represents their beliefs on a situation. The person rated with that sticker wants to hear more from that person beyond the sticker shitposting to see if their arguments have weight. So if you don't give any sort of rebuttal and just leave it at a sticker, the person becomes increasingly angry at you or whatnot, irrationally. This is what led to that utterly hilarious thread with @crocodilian sperging out about @snailslime and @zedkissed60. After all, it's a forum where we can say whatever the fuck we want almost as long as it doesn't inconvenience Our Dear Leader.

There's an interesting grasp of psychology to it all. To the way we use the internet, the way we communicate, interactions, and whatnot. How the stickers are so specific in their purpose in response to other people's posts. How one can become obsessed with people's opinions and perspectives and what they meant by just one sticker. They are quite an interesting weapon.

Also this, I noticed a lot of the Hugbox people returning acting like they are cool now because Satan eclipsed their faggotry by acting like a bigger sperg atm. But I do hope this cycle continues because this shit is genuinely hilarious.
