OK, for those of you who are new to this drama and new to the Nyk-Oliver affair of 2018 - 2019, here's a breakdown:

Spoiler: the ContraPoints/PhilosophyTube semi-public affair of 2018-2019

On the 17th of June 2018, Oliver did a 200k celebration stream with Nyk, and during this part he asked him about his old Nykytyne2 channel:

Oliver: Was your channel also called ContraPoints then? Or did you have a different... were you, like, "the rational ..."

Nyk: I did make videos a long time ago under the name

ContraPoints. There was a different name for a few other channels I had before.

Oliver: Oh, nice.

Nyk: Which we shall not discuss.

This was their 3rd public Livestream together. Their first Livestream is archived here. The second Livestream, which was a cooking stream, got deleted when Nyk purged his early Livestreams to cover up. However, it was clear over the course of these Livestreams that Nyk and Oliver were getting increasingly close.

Eventually Oliver visited Nyk in Baltimore, presumably in late November of 2018. In this 29th November of 2018 video, there is a man that Nyk refers to as "Manuel" handing Nyk drinks during the Livestream and laughing in the background, that people in the chat openly speculated was Oliver staying at Nyk's home in Baltimore.

Soon after Oliver left Baltimore, Nyk himself followed him to the UK. Here Nyk talks about visiting Oliver in the UK:

(Responding to a question from a fan asking) "Are you familiar with a channel called PhilosophyTube, Olly is like your bizarro-world counterpart." (Smiling) "I've heard of it... yeah, I'm a fan, I love Olly." (Short pause, as if he's wondering whether he should mention this) "We just hung out a bunch."

Here, during the same video, Nyk told the story about his "dildo cleaning detergent" and other sex play related items getting confiscated by UK border authorities when he took his bag of sex toys along with him to the UK to meet Oliver and "hang out a bunch". You can imagine what they actually "hung" out.

Nyk: Thaaanks Chris... well, my funny story from the last couple of weeks is that airport security... so, I was coming back to the United States from a foreign country [ he means the from the UK where he had just visited Oliver ], and the airport security in that country [the UK] told me that what I should do to avoid paying to check my bag, is just take my bag through security and then I can check it inside security. But I have all my stuff in there, the fluids and stuff, and they go: "Oh, it's fine.". So then I take my bag to the security checkpoint. I walk through the thing. Which I do with no trouble because, my last video is not a joke, I am actually very good at tucking, so good at tucking, that the TSA scanner does not clock me. And I get there, and they wanna search my bag, and I'm like, look, I'm gonna check this. And they go, you can't. And I go, but they told me that... so, I had to sit there, watching them search my bag, and my bag is full of, like, fucking kink stuff. Like, lube, and my enema (bottle), like, massage oil, and sex toy cleaner, and they're like: "What's this, what's this?", and I'm like: "It's for fucking, OK?". And they just confiscated so much of my stuff. I was so mad. But I guess it's kinda funny.

Now, why would Nyk bring along "lube, an enema bottle, massage oil and sex toy cleaner" and other "kink stuff" that "is for fucking, OK"v to the UK while visiting Oliver there? Anyone's guess I guess. Here on KF we speculated that Nyk and Oliver were an item, and so did his fans.

In this 3rd of May 2019 video following Nyk's FFS procedure (hence the stupid face mask with the chains he's wearing, which makes him look like a harem wife or something), Nyk was complaining about his stans on Facebook speculating about whether he and Oliver are a couple:

"ContraPoints Dank Meme Stash says - so that's a community [on Facebook, it's a Facebook page where people post memes based on screenshots of Nyk's videos]: How do you feel about BreadTube and your fan community shipping? We like fun but always aim to be respectful."

Nyk: "Uh (deep sigh) It's been kinda wearing me down lately, to be honest. I understand that people are gonna do it anyway, so me complaining about it really isn't gonna help anything. But it is a little weird, overtime, and like, it kind of weirdly affects friendships I have with actual people some times. The fact that there is constantly shipping going on, and the way that we are discussed online, it's kinda weird. At first I thought it was kinda cute. And sometimes I still find it cute. But, like... (sigh) it's also weird though. Like, when I mentioned in public that - in connection with certain of my colleagues - so frequently, it's like speculation about whether we're banging. It's kinda weird. It's not my favourite thing. But I also understand that, I am a public figure now, and I guess this is what I signed up for, so... that's kinda my problem. Say hello to everyone at the meme stash for me. And I don't judge them, I don't judge people for shipping. And finally, here's what Nyk said about his public break-up with "Chad" aka Oliver back in February of 2020 following the Shame video:

"I don't feel guilty about my past... well, I do. I feel guilty about Chad. I do feel guilty about what I put him through because of my fucking bullshit. But also, he's told me he has no regrets about the relationship. And honestly, I don't either. I don't regret having been through that. We were talking about, like, detransitioners who say that they needed to go through their transition experience. I needed to be a straight girl [read, a homo], a "straight girl" for two years. You know what I mean? I just don't think I could be the person that I am today if I hadn't had those experiences. And so, I don't regret it. I don't have any regret, I don't have any guilt about it. Keep in mind, Oliver now claims that he started taking HRT "a year ago", so that would be in late January/early February of 2020. If Oliver had told Nyk about his transitioning intent back then, that means Nyk was already aware of Oliver's intent to go trans when he uttered these words about their ruined relationship. Nyk was aware of Oliver wanting to become a woman, but he still referred to him as a man, as "Chad", when discussing their break-up. I am guessing because Oliver had asked Nyk to keep his transition secret for now, and Nyk complied.

The dude's a complete ego-maniacal grifter. It's like you said in your post, he's a well-to-do college grad living in gated communities (first in the St. Louis suburbs with his slumlord mother and now I guess in the KCMO suburbs) who traffics in the actual hardships of poor black people in Missouri and around the country through his petty few supporters and their "For the People" (FTP) groups.

Everyone who works with the guy who's not totally brain dead quickly realizes what a loser he is and stops associating with him. Even his little FTP groups have turned on him, with the chapters in Philadelphia and Omaha breaking away to form their own organization specifically because Winston is so batshit and they were tired of having to listen to him tell them what to do.

That was a year ago and just a few months ago, the rest of the FTP groups, which were part of Winston's "Maoist Communist Party - Organizing Committee" decided that maybe letting Winston be in charge of everything is a bad idea and broke up the MCP-OC, so now the FTP groups are all independent from one another and for the most part outside Chris' direct authority, to the joy of most people concerned. Although Chris does still have a lot of influence over Peoples Voice News, the semi-official but technically independent blog of the FTP groups (as demonstrated in the link in my last post).

I've known about Winston and watched his antics for years and I'm telling you, if you want to see the extent of his self-serving depravity and frequent detachment from reality, you've got to keep up with what Maoist groups in the US are doing (both his own and competing groups) and watch how Chris interacts with them, because fucking around in that scene is his bread and butter.

Just as another couple examples, he's constantly bringing up something about a dead rat on his porch he saw years ago (but never brings up anything more specific than that) and claims a competing Maoist group in St. Louis called the "Community Power Network" put it there to "intimidate him". He also used to run a cruddy "community" garden on a lot his slumlord mother owned with his StL FTP group and in November 2019 he posted some pictures of some cinder blocks that were smashed up in it and a banner on a wall crudely defaming him and the garden.

He also claimed that same group of competing Maoists did this as well, but it's rather suspicious how little damage was actually done to the garden itself, the timing, since it was the beginning of winter, the more obscure detail of the rhetoric on the banner not matching the rhetoric of the competing Maoist group + that group being better known for actually tagging graffiti than putting up temporary banners.

There's also the similarities between how he used the "vandalized" garden to promote "his work" on social media and how he used his neighbor's swingset, that was obviously blown up by him, to appear on Dr. Phil and do the same thing, promote himself.

To top it all off, the "vandalized" garden just so happened to be Chris' justification for launching another in a series of gofundme campaigns to raise money for repairing the garden (again, on a vacant property owned by his mother) and generic "organizing".

Obviously these details have led a lot of people who know and rightfully despise Winston to speculate that he smashed some cinder blocks and put up the banner himself then took pictures of it as a ploy to ask his online supporters for even more of their money.
