Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

Also about Skyward Sword - for all it's faults, it had one of the best soundtracks, one of the best dungeons, and great characters. It was a chore to get through, and fuck those fetchquests, but I'd happily play through that time-shifting desert again. Also the combat will be unbalanced as shit with waggle improvements, because the game was built around the controls being shitty
The timeshift dungeon was genius. And when the waggle worked, it was really cool. Ghirahim fights are awesome and the shiva robot thing was a blast.

The Imprisoned can die in a fire.

Maybe if they had more shit to do in the boring, lifeless world I would have enjoyed it more. To my credit, I have been consistent in my dislike of TP since 2006.
I mean, it was made solely on the backlash Wind Waker received, which is kind of where Nintendo is at right now. They’re seemingly making an attempt to get away from the “Nintendo just resells old games” reputation that they had since at least the GameCube. A good number of missteps in game design with them seem to come from listening to people who don’t actually know what they want.

That being said, TP works for me as a sort of OoT-lite, rather than an entirely revolutionary experience.

I take you never 100%ed the game then because Fun-Fun island is false advertising.

I collected 1 of every item and amassed all heart pieces and upgrades. Fun Fun island relies on pinpoint motion controls that went way beyond what the wiimote+ could possibly do reliably.

For all the shit people gave BOTW for not being a "true" Zelda, it was the first time since Majoras Mask that I felt Zelda went someplace I always imagined it would as a kid.
Hyrule itself was great, but everything else was awful. Dungeons were bland, combat was bland, the 'quests' were insulting, etc.

It is extra funny because WW was great and Zelda's combat was never as good as WW ever again.

Every place in BotW Hyrule looked and felt like a carefully crafted set piece in a smaller game. If they met a happy medium with dungeons, making them bigger than the shrines but not quite as big as classic Zelda, with more varied design, it could go a lot further than what we got.

I made that faggot clown drink his precious chickens through a straw before tossing him over the side.

I wouldn't argue against someone who thought BOTW was crap, but a giant fucking Hyrule to adventure in was enough to make me like it even if the ancient tech aesthetic, weapon system and dungeons were absolute garbage.

It's a good day to be a PS1 JRPG fan! SaGa Frontier and Legend of Mana were probably the high points of that conference for me. Octopath Triangle Titty Tactics the Third seems cool but somebody I talk to says it's a three houses clone because it has 3 paths and it's a strategy rpg.

EDIT: forgot to mention bravely default 2 but that announced before

Twilight Princess expands upon WW’s combat. They’re just not all available from the beginning like WW’s.

OH BOY I SURE LOVE MANDATORY STEALTH SECTIONS!
The stealth section isn’t even that difficult.

They're not exclusives IIRC, they're going to be brought to other platforms.

The one thing I can't find is that if they're doing a physical release or not.
