Is it weird that I actually can’t see Game Freak getting more lazy? Nintendo forcibly moved their office right next to HAL, they can easily get coding help now.

I already expected Game Freak to not do Battle Frontier for the remakes which is way too obvious. Even then at this rate it's not really the worst of the worries.
I actually edited the title. News for it did go silent apart from Chinese beta.

So, this isn't Game Freak's fault, but apparently there's a big event happening 2/20 in Pokemon Go. There's a special ticket you can buy that will eventually get you a shiny Mew, so obviously a lot of people bought it. There's also some other exclusive stuff.
However, a ton of people reported that they were able to get access to all the exclusive stuff...without paying anything. This of course has people divided (on reddit, naturally) into the following camps:
1) I paid for this thing so nobody who didn't pay should never have this thing. Niantic needs to take away all their pokemon and items and personally fellate me.
2) I am disappointed that they were able to access things for free that I paid for, Niantic needs to personally fellate me, then give me more items and pokemon.
3) Niantic has screwed up every event for the last 3 years, I will just post a meme so everyone can fellate me.
Not sure what they'll do, or if they'll do anything. But I'm sure it'll be hilarious.

If you go back through their Twitter, they're counting down the days using the gens. This started with Galar when it was 8 days to go.
That said, the Sinnoh one's the only one with "Let's Go" included, so make of that what you will.

I think they included “let’s go” because leaks/rumors suggest that a game called “Let’s Go Catching” will be announced alongside Gen 4 remakes.

But how can gamefreak then be lazy, and not put as much effort into the mainline games, if some other dev team puts out a better pokemon game? They might have to try. We can't have that.
