Its only a personal opinion but Gavin has appeared in far less videos than normal, the argument is hey he has a successful youtube channel and is really busy. My theory is he has no financial burdens and RT has no power over him and he does it for fun. He can run his mouth and stop doing it when RT is no longer fun, I think he got sudo fired or sudo quit.

My only exposure to Ky is through that clip posted earlier in the thread where her mic fucks up because of the sheer amount of screeching... so I can’t provide my own opinion of whether I like her or not until her audio set up plays nicely with my ears or something. The other issue is that I don’t want to watch Rooster Teeth’s let’s play content because it has become extremely boring. They really have nothing that sets them apart from every boring washed-up lets play channel anymore. What used to be them talking about random stuff or roasting each other is now a bunch of middle aged men who haven’t evolved their comedic style in 10 years. As a result they only retain the individual tropes that once made them unique but with none of the drive to remain unique. The worst part is that they put the onus to create new humour on these new hires, which gets them absolutely destroyed by fans so quickly because they aren’t even allowed to do anything except what a bunch of salty millennials have done for years.

idk I’m rambling at this point because I’m fired up and I’ve gone way off topic, but white or not new hires are never going to have a chance in the environment they’re given. I pity Ky because she may never be able to evolve her style or find a place where she fits in. It’s not so much the fans but the company she works for.

Yeah, that too. I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt to make a point that Rooster Teeth isn’t going to give anyone new a chance. The last time I watched anything from them was summer 2020 but up to that point I hadn’t seen a new on-screen hire who wasn’t completely devoid of personality.

Their glassdoor shows that they aren’t very inclusive and are very clique-oriented, so I’m thinking that factors into the monotony in the on-screen hires.

I wish Rooster Teeth as a company was worth saving. At this point it would take a miracle, and if things are actually looking as bad as they seem it might be best to pull the plug.

I wonder what would happen to the people who are brainwashed beyond belief.

Professional victimhood is a sexual fetish. There are people that seemingly can only get sexual gratification by pretending to be oppressed while living in the least oppressive country during the least oppressive time in the history of the human race. The truly twisted thing is that while lying about being oppressed they get to live an extremely privileged life. They don't even have to be productive members of society or the economy. They can just make a bunch of money while doing silly and unserious things like playing video games and making Youtube videos. It's not like Mika, Fiona, Ky, or any of the other RT staff are working in coal mines, inhaling toxic dust, and dying from black lung. They are playing video games and that is what makes their victim fantasies so despicable.

Here's the thing: A lot of people in the black community have a thinking of that their skin color means they have to work at least twice as hard to get any form of respect their white peers get. The idea is: "no matter how successful you are, to them, you're still just a nigga".
