There's this horror tuber called Scare Theater that used to make these interesting videos debunking dumb internet legends and ghost stories. As autistic as it all was, he really did his research when making the debunked videos, and you could tell they were made from a genuine intrigue in the subject.

Then he started getting Youtube dollars and started making clickbait bullshit that all other horror tubers make. He even contradicted himself by making a video about "unsolved horrors" that featured several Internet legends that he himself debunked.

THEN he partially defended the parents of Desmond is Amazing by taking a mostly neutral stance on them, which got him a lot of flack.

Now he's had a habit of making dumb, conspiracy videos about the right side of politics, including one literally titled "Donald Trump Created the Corona Virus."

If he were more well known, he'd be a cow.

Wait, seriously, ScareTheater did that? I think I'm subscribed to him, since he's in the same boat as Blameitonjorge and NexPo, and I found myself enjoying some of his stuff about deboonking ARGs and likewise. I didn't know he did anything cringy lately.

I mentioned this in a previous thread about NexPo and mystery channels, but there's a lost media channel that randomly appeared out of nowhere in the recent months, and the narrator sounds oddly similar to ScareTheater:

I shared that video previously because it's about motherfucking Billy Mays, but was also surprised to see he gave a shout out to Mumkey Jones' Lego builder friend Baron Von Brunk – but sadly, in a more recent All Things Lost video, he showed an awful montage of black celebrities over top a discussion of D.W. Griffin's Birth of a Nation – which for some bizarre reason included Kamala.

I wonder if ScareTheater and All Things Lost are linked somehow.

I'm sorry, but I can't call neutral anything that has "yeah, he killed that guy by chocking him to death, chopped his corpse, threw parts into a river and then bragged about it, but that guy was a drug dealer" and "I don't know if Alig takes drugs or not (even though you could easily google that he's been caught smoking meth a couple of months before that)". This nigga didn't get even 10 percent of the flack that he deserved for those mental gymnastics.

I did see Predator Poachers get mention earlier on this thread and I fully agree with that the community or at least the head channel is starting to become cows themselves. That Alex guy is a retard himself, the jokes he makes while catching the pedos aren't funny and he seems like a bully.

imo the whole pedo catching community could be on the community watch board by end of 2021. The only one that gets a pass is Justin Payne who actually talks about how serious the matter is and has been doing this for almost 6 years.

Hm, I can see why would you think that. He too makes this strange sound at the end of some words, like if he very quickly slaps his tongue down in his mouth. Also, the pace of his speech and how he builds his sentences are familiar too. But his voice is not the same, so either he changes it somehow (I don't know much about this) or he has different recording equipment. His twitter is LostMediaMike, so I guess he calls himself Mike and he also mentions some Molly on Twitter, who makes his thumbnails. Although, maybe he is just half-nigga too.

There's nothing wrong with bullying pedos, the issue is the kinds of people who do it in public and their motivations. Because pedos are a universally acceptable target for pretty much anything, pedo-hunting tends to attract people with sadistic and psychopathic tendencies who have found a convenient target for their aggression. A lot of anti-pedo types are the worst kind of virtue-signallers. For these people it's not about punishing pedos, it's certainly not about protecting kids, it's about "look how good a person I am for opposing the Bad Thing". It's the same kind of thing that attracts these people to "anti-racism" or "anti-TERF" campaigns, it's not about protecting minorities, they don't give a fuck about minorities, it's about having an excuse for cathartic violence, and bragging to your shithead friends about what a "good" person you are for kerbstomping someone half your size. And if anyone questions whether that's really the way forward, they can easily be accused of sympathising for the pedos/Nazis/terfs, making it an effective trollshielding method for some really shitty people.

And that's before you get to the harm these people do - they can wreck years-long Police investigations and stings with their blundering as any "evidence" they gather (assuming they even bother) is usually inadmissible in court, and they have a tendency to target the innocent. Two incidents in the UK spring to mind - one where an innocent Iranian immigrant was burned alive by a mob who falsely accused him of being a pedo in what was very clearly really a racially motivated attack, and another where a paediatrician was driven out of her home by an illiterate mob of Council Estate scumfucks who didn't know the difference between a paediatrician and a paedophile. These two incidents give a bit of an insight into the kinds of people behind these channels.

The people who are actually putting pedos away and protecting children do it out of public view and don't expect praise, recognition, or Youtube views. For actual child protection professionals, keeping kids safe is its own reward. Whenever I see one of these "pedo hunter" types, my first reaction is "what is this person hiding?", and it's usually something pretty awful.

Not sure if it's been said but Cody from Some More News used to work for Cracked and had good content. When they fell apart and he quickly descended into the "Trump bad" shtick and became cringe in a matter of months. I still watched it because he had some fun bits and talked about smaller stories but it's so unwatchable now I wince just looking at the thumbnails.

Well this Alex guy just seems to be doing it for fun/laughs and not trying to make himself look good (since he's throwing insults and slurs most of the time). Making pedos think they're going to be killed in a Russian mob bosses house is peak content to me. Especially the one where the guy breaks a window and jumps out or they have a boxing match with the pedo in a living room. They actually turn over the chat logs to the police and some of the pedos actually get arrested at the end of the videos (if they don't out run the guys). I find the videos funny most of the time and think people are just butthurt at the usage of racial and gay slurs at the pedos.

Also both of those stories you linked are from shitty muslim countries were pedophilia isn't even treated as a crime really.

Debunking ARGs is fucking gay and I hate people that do it. A lot of his videos were him pointing out very very obvious things. The only thing he has are topics that carry him.
