Holy shit do these retards love to hear themselves talk. It's like they never have anything to say but they just keep talking because they expect some of their words to have weight by random chance.
They live in a bubble

Since these arguments started to crop up I have been wondering how much energy is used in legitimate banking and credit card transactions. I would imagine for a given number of transactions the banking and CC would have to be more efficient due to economy of scale alone. But would that still be true given a similar scale for crypto (not necessarily BTC)?

Crypto-miners have to be acutely aware of energy spent to make it profitable and CC/Banking is working with basically unlimited funds and can easily sacrifice energy in favor of other priorities to increase profits. For instance, a significant portion of banking infrastructure takes place on systems using FORTRAN or COBOL for various reasons, and I wonder if older less efficient hardware/software might not be one of those factors.

Does it cost less or more for banks to store, transmit, and calculate transactions than it does using blockchain technology?
A big part of it is that most of the calculation actually done for bitcoin isn't actually the movement of funds, its the legitimization of funds through cryptography. The hashs they have to calculate to ensure a transaction are really, really, intense on computer resources, and, by proxy, on the energy grid. That isn't universal tho, with Bitcoin and Ether being the prime offenders, where as something like Monero tends to be background mined on CPUs because it's built to be resistant to the ASIC methods use for BTC. Banks, however, don't have to worry about this because people trust them intrinsically, and they don't need all the extra effort to ensure transaction aren't forged.

Mfw I want to abolish capitalism, but I'm hungry

Caleb "Abolish billionaires is an anti-Marxist statement" Maupin would rage if you classified him as Breadtube. Dude's a hardcore Marxist-Leninist and supporter of Socalism with Chinese Characteristics.

His debate with Vaush is one for the ages. So much second hand embarrassment.

Depends on the law school. The lawyer job market is highly saturated right now and I doubt he goes to a big name law school where he can get a corporate law gig

A Marxist-Leninist working as a corporate lawyer sounds illogical until you remember somehow BayArea ML is a real person. A man who also has a history of lobbying against an affordable housing project being built in his wealthy neighborhood.

To answer vaush’s question no they are not

Breadtube are retards that don't understand marxist thought. They are utopian socialists and don't like anything attached to scientific socialism. Because in essence that means living in a post liberal society that won't be catered to their needs.

One of the breadtubbers orbiters once suggested they wouldnt have to work in a socialist society. I think it's fair to say their grasp of socialism is questionable.

Good to see that his fans at least have common sense. Yes drop out of law school to do youtube, where your livelihood is decided by everchanging rules and an algorithm that can change from favoring you to never recommending you in a second.
This is why the no vote is so dissapointing. He's both a) Dumb enough to think of youtube as a career. and b) He let his fucking audience vote on what to do with his life.

I also love the implications of this. What is law boring or something? Is it not giving you enough validation, is it beneath you? Every communist wants to be a fucking speaker instead of a doer, no wonder they all starve.

Hunter Avallone is BTFOing Christians by telling them if they state their beliefs they're being abusive. Also lmfao @ his wife speaking for him as a reply guy :story:

That is probably the most bigoted thing I ever read from him since well let’s face it he also throws the Jews and the Islamic people under the bus by extention
Yes both Jews and Muslims have their versions of hell from the same god as they worship with the Christians
Although has his wife posted anything similar to him in the past

Carrisa is one of the main people involved in Modern Day Debates which is one of the more up and coming debate channels, too bad it's shit. Like 90% of the debates she sets up are Christianity vs Atheism or some aspect of the bible, and it's painful to watch the Christians they bring on are almost always jokes and the atheists are fedora tier.

She did go on about abuse a few hours after Hunter, admitting she's abused people before (shocker!). I wouldn't be shocked if she was putting out of Hunter's cringe tweets, but he clearly runs it quite a bit.
