In one way or another, Kevin has given the impression that he has allowed himself to believe that the way things panned out as a result of his friends intervening and his family going to get him was not for the best.
I just really want to know who he is trying to sell this completely revised story to? Himself? The haters? Lori?

Him asking for help and for someone to call the police is literally proven in black and white. No one within his (former) group of loved ones randomly decided to sick the popos on them merely out of sheer hatred for his gross girlfriend. How can he just continue to blatantly lie like this and think it’ll fly?

I really can’t decide if he’s just doing a terrible job at trying to gaslight and reach Lori levels of manipulation, or if he’s genuinely presenting delusional disorder based on his mention of psychosis.

:lunacy: Won't Vet Fooled Again: Users at the other farms are understandably suspicious of Lori's recent e-begging for alleged "veterinary bills" while possibly planning to leave Kevin. This is especially true given her long history of grifting, lying, and pet abandonment. Regardless, I hope those fur babies are safe and, if genuinely sick, receiving appropriate veterinary care.

Oh boy, if the ferrets are having seizures, it's probably due to insulinoma. As a prior vet tech/nurse, you really only see exotic animals in practice if they're new patients or not doing good, and ferrets have a whole litany of issues (lori can be right some times, I suppose). They're highly susceptible to influenza; adrenal gland disease happened in probably 90% of ferrets I worked with. Insulinoma is basically hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and the pancreas develops tumors on it to secret more insulin.

The cause is, usually, shitty diet (can be comorbid with adrenal disease or other cancers too). Idk what the fuck that "soup" is that they're feeding them, but ferrets are obligate carnivores that have to eat pretty much all day (i.e free feeding) with kibble made for them or frozen/thawed chicks/rodents. If the bills are expensive, I believe it, but I wonder how much of this the both of them could've prevented.

Following on from this, I'm assuming that the soup will be some sort of dietary aid, but I agree that the seizures are most likely due to insulinoma. It's one of the top issues I've seen in many of the circles of ferretkeeping that I'm a part of, mostly due to new owners or owners that believe cutting corners in the diet will be fine and feed them any old trash kibble that's sold with a picture of a ferret on it. Most retailed processed ferret food is absolute trash, and expensive bills like these can absolutely be prevented should they have been feeding them the right food to begin with.

In the follow-up picture, there looks to be soaked kibble in a bowl... And though you can't tell branding from a bowl of brown lumpy mush, it's clear to see in their coats that the food they're being fed is bad quality. Ferret fur is one of the biggest tells when it comes to their diet quality; ferrets fed on a diet of mostly raw meat and a little kibble have the best coats; the fur is thick, glossy, all brushed in one direction and nowhere near as sparse and scraggly as this. They also look thinner than they're meant to be at this time of year, which is when a ferret SHOULD be slowly losing its winter weight in preparation for spring/summer. Though they usually have a moult this time of year, the spring coat beneath would also be thick, but sleek and closer to the body. Even older ferrets don't tend to have scraggly coats like this unless there's a clear health issue.

It's infuriating, because people get ferrets because they're cute and bouncy and don't 'do their research' like Lori is crowing (though by the looks of these poor critters, she's not done hers either, or she's fine cutting corners with their health for the sake of spending money on other useless crap like shoes and tacky underwear) and then are hit with hefty vet bills. Ferrets also carry a high risk of developing cancers in their later years, but I doubt that these two are going to get that far given how thin and unkempt they look.

I'll give her props for one thing, though. At least their nails are trimmed.

Fur/hair is actually one of the biggest tells in any mammal of general health--it's why humans have sexually selected for the genes for super-long hair. (The longer it is, the longer a health record it's showing off.)

Look at Lori's ferrets.

Then look at Lori's hair.

Look at how shiny it isn't. How dull it is. How brittle. Look at how much it shows that she bleaches it and doesn't do the aftercare; you're not supposed to take it more than two degrees lighter than your natural color because more than that and the bleach is just murder on it. How much it looks like it's a cheap wig, one made with low-quality synthetic hair.

She probably doesn't notice anything wrong.

(Though honestly I'm confused. Ferrets, cute and bouncy? My partner gets gnawed on every time he goes to pet a ferret, and even if they don't draw blood...I'm pretty sure I shouldn't find that cute.)

Ferrets can be cute and bouncy, but that takes proper socialization and handling from a young age. Ferrets are still pretty close to the European polecat they descended from, and without proper raising they will bite you if handled. It also differs per ferret/bloodline, like all pets/mammals they do have some sort of personalities, but they can be very fun pets if you do your homework, raise them properly and feed them properly. Main reason I'm not interested in having them myself is how fragile their immune system is and their stankiness.

I agree that, with how horribly Lori takes care of her own hair, extensions included, she probably doesn't see anything wrong with how her ferrets look - they should be kinda plump kinda pearshaped bouncing noodles, especially at this time of the year, but hers just look sad.

Any kind of animal that shits in your house will make the place reek unless you're on top of cleaning up after them. Lori is a slob and Kevin is an absolute pig, so it makes sense their apartment would reflect that. It could be safely assumed neither of them does any housework at all; I'm sure the smell of ferrets, rotting garbage, and granny poonani is intoxicating.

On a much more depressing note- what's the over/under on those poor ferrets kicking the bucket within the next month? I believe they're the kind of animal that will die of a broken heart if their mate passes, but I could be making that shit up. Taking care of a non-exotic pet is expensive enough to do properly, of course Lorena had to be special and get exotics she has no business owning.

OT but that Pixelated Nani girl gives me the creeps. Unsurprising that Lori would befriend a grown woman who cosplayed and sexualized Nevada-tan. Psychotic pedobaiting cunts of a feather flock together.

I feel kinda bad for saying this, and I have absolutely no basis on whether this is true or not, but I've begun to believe that these aren't the same ferrets she had when she was in Washington. I've never owned a ferret, but if these critters have most likely had poor nutrition for most of their lives, I find it hard to believe that they could have survived more than 3 years. I have unfortunately known people who have been poor ferret owners and their ferrets did not live long lives.

Ha ha holy shit every time I check this thread it gets worse (:_( I'd never heard of Nevada-tan until @faggot fucker shared that post.

On to the morbid jokes: what's the death pool look like here?
Ferrets: unknown sickness, starvation, neglect
Kevin: a flip, OD, driven into psych ward, suffocation under pedobait merch
Lori: pectus cave-in, eye cancer, TardRage Kevin, withers away like like Dorian Gray

Not that I think any of that will happen, of course. But if anything even close to that does happen, please livestream it 🙏

Should I brush my ferret?
In between baths, I recommend brushing your ferret weekly, to remove dead fur and dust from his coat. Use a soft-bristled brush, which will be more comfortable for your ferret. source.

Keep the cage and litter clean and it will help keep your ferret smelling fresh. Bathing tends to dry out the skin and coat, at most bathe once a month. Unless your ferret has gotten into something that needs to be washed off, a bath every two to three months is probably plenty. source

Many ferret owners give their pets a quarter spoonful of VCO (virgin coconut oil) daily. This is to prevent hairballs and also acts as a laxative in case your ferret has constipation. This allows feces to be passed easily. Others give this in order to give their ferrets healthier and shinier fur. source

Not sure if these gems have already been posted here. A few weeks ago, Kevin posted this to Facebook begging for job leads.

Kevin: "I need a new part time job that pays $15+ asap. Any leads would be appreciated, I have 2 years of supervisor experience. has to have good management"

Facebook User: "The amazon warehouse I work at has a new shift open that is just saturday sundays. Is 15 an hour but easy work. If you want can message you more info"

Kevin: "Ive heard great but also meh stuff about them [Amazon]. They are close by though, definitely on my radar. The shifts are rly long but it seems worth it."

Kevin then posted this meme recently on his Facebook.

You're absolutely right on with that statement. Ferrets are (though there are some rare exceptions) social animals that bond very tightly with their cagemates/hutchmates, which is why it's recommended to get ferrets in a group of at LEAST three, given that there'll be two left to comfort one another should one die. Though even that's not a failsafe; I've owned ferrets in the past whose entire personality changed after one of their cagemates passed away, getting more withdrawn and less interested in playing without their close buddy. If one of her ferrets dies, chances are the other will follow suit within the year, given that the second one is most likely too old to be introduced to another ferret.

I've had cats with cancer that had cheaper vet bills. Kevin just admitted to everyone that they did all the things they SHOULD have been doing at once in that trip. Had they just paid for medication and and a check up it would be under $300 easily. $3000 is absolutely ludicrous. Also losing my god damn mind at "I will fucking kill you."

We fuckin got em, boys. :bork: Kevin best cos-cow.
