Piracy. Being able to maintain the old media is how we start. For it reminds us of how people in the past thought. But how? Every avenue we have is peanuts compared to what the ones ruining society have, where do we even begin?
For example, I've started watching the original Battlestar Galactica after watching the Remake and I actually like it better. It's corny AF, yes, but at its core, it's a Biblical story set in space. Terrible things happened to them and the politicians in them are rent-seeking cowards, but it's simple in its execution and our heroes aren't assholes. In the Remake, EVERYONE is an asshole and an emotional wreck at the beginning of the show. Scripture and faith can't be real. Everyone has to become more depressed and any attempts to understand religious concepts are muddled in atheist edgelord writing, which makes its themes incomprehensible and contradictory at times.
Why do I bring it up? Because the original show was written by someone who truly believed in the ethos of the mythos he was drawing upon. Character morality in old shows was definitely more deontological and universal. So much so that it was taken for granted, which is how the rot started. At the risk of sounding smug, dumber people (especially New Atheists) couldn't grasp the subtext of why old morality did better and mindlessly railed at it for decades until all that was left was the strawman. Truth gave way to perspective.
