Very few Industries will the consumer get monetary gain, if his only stipulation to being a fan is that he's able to acquire monetary gain from it I don't think he was ever really a fan oh, he might have been at one point but when the song blew up everything changed
That's my love hate relationship with clippers. Even if you translate, it's still using other peoples content for money. It's free advertising, and whatnot, so it's not entirely bad. Doing it because you love the talent and want others to enjoy them as well is one thing. MFer should be happy that something he made brought happiness, and maybe use those editing skills to launchboard into a career of his own.

When you can't put what you love before yourself, than you should quit it and get help. Just so happens that to an autist quitting something means lighting something on fire to remove any chance of coming back, even if starting that fire burns them. Of fucking course

literally who? fucker you burned your bridges with reddit the most spergies of all, everyone told you to get bent and someone told you about the meanie kiwies
I have no idea how, but there definitely still are people who like him, judging by the like-dislike ratio on the video.

Not exactly. There have been over $321k in superchats made, but that's not the same as income to the streamer. She'd have received $112,350 of that, after YT and Cover get their cuts, and before taxes are taken into account. She's got other revenue streams, like memberships, merch, and priestess duties, but we know less about those. I still doubt she makes enough to drop $30k in charity on a whim.
Membership numbers are hidden, but we can guess based on members only streams. So if in a members only stream, you have 15K in chat, assuming that's half or even a third of total, even if you only get get 1 dollar after YT and cover take a cut, (very low ball) that's still 45k a month in memberships alone. Not believing in this rrat, but yeah, these girls are making fuck you money to where 30K is like 100 dollars to you or me.

I think this is what happens when you let your success from your fanwork get to your head and think you're hot shit. If I had a shred of talent in some kind of media any of these dumbasses had (looking at Mizryuu Kei, Holo Bass), I would have built upon the base built from fanworks to divert some of that traffic to my own original works.

Granted, I also have the Japanese mentality of "Shoganai" so unless it was a major strike that would nuke my livelihood, I would've shrugged it off and just go on with my business tbh.

I sure hope this tranny doesn't try to chargeback the dono. I remember it being a thing on Twitch, whether it was to the streamer or for charity donations. These asshats would donate big money, then do a chargeback. Usually its not the loss of the donation that kills the dono but the fees from banks that does it.

I watch a YouTube streamer who has membership numbers public. Guy has 0.46% of his subs as members, assuming the same percentage for Ina that's $23k in membership per month. absurd; I kind of take back previous statement, still think Ina could afford it, no proof it's her though

I will never stop questioning where the fuck these literal nobodies get their money from.

While still on the Holo Bass subject but sidetracking a bit, the lack of presence of his one time collaborator, Avilon, in this discussion is a little surprising. That guy comes across as more aggressive in monetizing his work since his Bandcamp has a price tag attached to almost everything as well as still having stuff uploaded to Spotify, yet I haven't seen a single word of COVER going after him.

Wow, he's getting upset about the character he sampled singing the song with the voice he sampled from. I can understand his frustration over being screwed hard on Spotify and I think he should absolutely take Cover to task over that. But if his work is non-infringing then by extension Ame's cover of it is also likely non-infringing.
Cover TOS about fanmade stuff literally states that they allow it, but can and will use it for free as they fit. He have grounds to suck his own dick, and thats about it.

btw, I believe the Holo fag guy is blocking/deleting any comment calling him out. I just noticed a few top comments calling him a schizo disappear, and I've been checking every 15 minutes through 2 VPNs, incognito and alt accounts.

He should try giving away Razer mice next time because the dollars per follower ratio is only going down. Currently $1000 per follower gained.
TBF to the guy he admits he only does it as a hobby. So maybe he is well off and only gave money because he wanted to. With 40 followers you would have to be an idiot to give that much as a business expense.

Keep in mind that Cover only claimed Pop in Rocks in Spotify, a platform you literally cannot opt out for monetization. It's still up on Youtube as for now atleast.

His other Hololive music isn't even claimed, for some reason.

What a weird hill to die on.

Wow, no surprise tbh
I know there's still a comment there saying he handled the situation poorly with 16 likes. Wonder what he deleted
