I swear to God, MMO's and the internet has done a lot of work to teach me that racism is okay and it's always been the damn chinks.

I used to be a good kid and not agree with racism.

Edit: @Cubanodun Ya, I was waiting for them too when Happy Synthesizer hit. I guess they finally let go ownership of that song.

They're alright, at least the ones that live in HK, TW and those who got the fuck out of mainland back in the 70s-90s.

Will you niggers actually post something directly showing Gura's following as being the ones who are shitting on Calli? Twitter posts, Discord conversations, anything. Because I keep hearing Deadbeats blaming Chumbuds as being the ones who've been bitching about her Gura collab and the recent Shadowverse stream, and, at this point, it's starting come across more like the Deadbeats are being absolutely schizophrenic when it comes to criticism and looking for the most convenient scapegoat, or everyone's being gayop'd as hard as possible.
Realistically speaking, there's absolutely some deadbeats shitting it up as well. And no good way to tell the difference unless you're on something like twitter and spot an Oshi mark. But considering the past behavior of the Gura defense force, it wouldn't be too far to assume her literal children fans are freaking out too.

He shits in Holos and claims that he is finding VShojo more entertaining nowadays, but jumps at a chance to collab with Calli almost immediately

I got curious about that since I also watched that episode and in no way did any of them come off as "shitting" on Holos, so I checked the timestamped clip where he talks about it:

"I have been watching less vtubers as 2021 has rolled around... but also I've been watching more streamers in general now. I feel like there is a definite difference between Hololive and Vshoujo, right? Like Vshoujo are vtubers who are streamers and I feel like Hololive is definitely more treated as idols. What I found is that I kind of more gravitated more towards seeing Vtubers as content-creators, like I respect them as content-creators more than anything, like I never understood idol-anime, the idol industry itself, that's why I've gravitated more towards vtubers who I think are just talented content-creators and doing good content."

Kind of a fair opinion to have whether you follow either Niji, Holo, Vshoujo or other indies. And Calli being a non-idol-like chuuba who does interesting content falls within that basket. I think his association with Sydsnap and her ties with Vshoujo is just coloring your interpretation of what he said. The rest of the clip where Joey also expounds on his late preference for Nijisanji content due to exactly that kinda reinforces the point about their current personal preferences regarding chuuba content - not necessarily about whether one corpo is shit or not.

He's still a faggot though, but a high-functioning and entertaining one at least.

EDIT: Another consideration here is that Garnt is also a Kadokawa/Bookwalker employee through GeeXplus, so this can also possibly be just a management-mandated collab between the two companies on behalf of the Shadowverse sponsorship.

Dude that runs a pod cast for weebs shills for his fiancé in a company, shits on her competition and yet collabs with it for fame and money. I'd be mad about it if I didn't think him and Calli are friends, so eh. I think good showmanship is watering down your lust for fame and fortune with genuine interests, so that's the most I'd criticize Gigguk for.
Now that you mentioned it Calli might be the fool here. She seemed genuinely happy and excited during the collab. Frankly she's quite bad at faking feelings.

Gigguk might be whispering sweet nothings in her ear about being real good friends and him being totally down to help her when that Hololive thing is over. She's only had this for 8 months, I wouldn't be surprised if she is massively starstruck too.

But that's just a rrat.

I doubt any of what you said is true outside of your head and you should read what @Biobreak said. My comment wasn't at all anything you said, I just said he could be less transparent about the biggest motivator behind this collab on his part. They're still friends, this is partly happening because of that reason.

Meds. Take 'em.

Connor has mentioned in passing in one of his Twitch streams that they've all hung out afterwards after the guest stint, which isn't really surprising if you're a foreigner living in Japan. Expats tend to socialize/work within their own bubbles, probably more so in Japan with how non-English-friendly most of society is. Discovering a new English-speaking clique that you find out you can get along with would be a boon to any English-speaker currently leading a solitary lifestyle there.

I mostly dislike Gigguk for this totally not biased shit take

Forgive me for sperging,

But that video title just rubs me the wrong way. When that video was brought up here hundreds of pages back I immediately think back when in the JP scene don't they have some major events that are broadcasted on live television that have both "real people" and have Vtubers sometimes from Hololive, Nijisanji, and several other agencies and even some indies participate in these live events. Especially when there's this live show has various Vtubers taking questions and answering them from a "real person". And sometimes those live talk shows that some of the holos or even some other Vtubers take part in as well.

But as of writing, these examples aren't what they mean by collabs, and from watching the first half of the clip they only mention western Vtubers and not the JP Vtubers so I could just be sperging all for nothing. I got nothing against Gigguk, Joey, or Conner at all. It's just that title just rubs me the wrong way and has gotten to me.

I apologize for sperging like this. I shouldn't be reeing over a clip of an anituber podcast.

Are people really shocked that Cali vibed better with someone she has hanged out with multiple times as compared to someone she only knows as a face on screen.

If Cali isn't allowed to appear on trash taste anymore probably cause they already got the free exposure and rigging would be a bitch again I wonder what are the chances demondice could appear.

So is this the start of the much predicted EN-CN fanbase war? Seriously I think Cover should start hiring mods, or at least allow the talents to gather their own mod team instead of leaving them in the dust when it comes to this shit.
She could do the same thing Coco did and hire the most dedicated Takos to act as mods.

edit:
More tako lore, apparently Ina used to be a very negative person. I cant even begin to imagine a negative Ina, feels bizarre.

Honestly, probably the most correct read on the events.

Considering her past comments about her being an MMO-Playing shut in, that doesn't surprise me. I've never met any optimistic shut-ins, personally.

Kiara has also resorted to modding members that she recognizes and recruits them in her Member streams. I think 1 or 2 per major timezone. And they get the moderator tag on a secondary account that they don't chat on. Actually a pretty smart system that doesn't show favoritism to people who don't know it's there.

No, I won't take my meds. Gigguk is a fake friend, the rrat machine wheels spin.
