More time? Why? The guy was like the king, they gave him everything and he still fucked up. No one at Konami told him to waste a ton of money on Hollywood actors. As for Silent Hill, he would have ruined that franchise even more with his Hollywood friends.
Look at Death Stranding, another game where he had total control over the project, the game tanked and what does he do? He releases a "director's cut" 2 years later.

Seeing as he associates with Del Toro, a fat reddit tier director who thought that JRR Tolkien was too much of a catholic(despite being the original director of the Hobbit) and makes degenerate films such as the Shape of Water, Kojima would probably ruin Silent Hill. Silent Hill is not coming back until Konami goes belly up and even then it will likely be about as good as every game not made by Team Silent.

Del Toro is a guy I have real mixed feelings about, I love his older movies, but I saw The Shape of Water and while it was a well made movie, I didn't like it's message.

The Golden age of PS2 horror games isn't coming back. Plus, modern audiences aren't really capable of playing a game like Rule of Rose, Fatal Frame or SH2 anyway.

And it's given authenticity because they have blue hair and a fucking tooth gap the size of the Panama Canal, so clearly they spend all their time doing GAME THINGS and not business deals and meetings.

I'm a hardcore gamer, video games mean a lot to me, so fucking sue me.

What I see happening at the moment is between scalpers and Woke video games being ruined, the fucking PS5 has been out for over half a year but you still can't find one in stores, it's the next generation that didn't actually arrive.

Woke is fucking poison that ruins everything it infests, it's as if it's a literal weapon being waged against our society and maybe that's actually what it is (ie by China), what we're seeing at the moment is western devs going all in on Woke.

But video games have been through bad times before, 2009-2012 kind of sucked as well for different reasons, however things got good again, hopefully it'll happen again, but I really do sense another 1983 style crash coming and if that happens hopefully Japan will pick up the pieces like last time.
