Before Carousel left this poly lesbian group there were at least two cis woman. After the split, Ginger was the only cis woman in the relationship though she isn't a looker herself.

You got to remember Lily is a Native trans woman who's a demiromantic lesbian who is hypersexual who wrote child pornography of ponies with a history of not only being raped once but twice and then managing to attack some random man in Canada who happened to be wearing a maga hat that she could tell was an alt right nazi on sight. Lily has suffered intense parental abuse even though more evidence points to Lily beating the shit out of her cis sister as a child and being an absolute brat. She's also suffered abuse from her previous relationship even though she was a manipulative abuser who made sure to get her way. Lily is most certainly more special than other demis because unlike them she's truly psychotic and vindictive at her worse.
Don't forget he had covid twice despite never leaving the house and it wasn't a big deal! You know like a pathological liar would say.

Also "demiromantic" is so fucking stupid. I feel like the majority of people want to have sex with someone they give a shit about or at least know fairly well. You just have a bunch of unsocialized nerds who think TV's depiction of every single person constantly fucking is accurate to real life.

Demiromantic is one of the most bullshit sexualities ever conceived.

'I'm not like other girls, I only feel a romantic attraction to people after I form a bond with them first!'

You mean like most people? Hate to burst your bubble, but most healthy relationships aren't actually founded upon sexual attraction alone. If the only thing holding your relationship together is the sex, then it's not really much of a relationship.

The person who coined the term was obviously just fishing for attention and wanting to be even more special than the other Bis or Gays and I'm absolutely fucking floored by how many people believe it's some kind of valid sexuality and not just...how normal relationships work.

How do tumblr brats come up with this nonsense? Seriously, you're attracted to people whom you have a connection with? Doesn't that mean every single person alive is LGBT+, according to these people?

Because those tumblr brats have glorified LGBT and villified being straight to the point that insecure young people are trying to find something to make them anything other than one of those boring, evil straight people everyone on social media hates. That's how that microidentity shit is happening.

Tumblr likes to glorify dumb ideas and promote a lack of critical thinking in most cases. Warping the idea of supporting LGBT is just one of many such cases.

I can't help but feel like this is the impact of fanfiction and some of these people really believe that when other people see an attractive stranger they pop an immediate insatiable boner that basically demands they fuck.

Countdown to when Lily starts talking about how Ginger was toxic and abusive to her has begun.
My bet is it'll be... 2 weeks from now.

She also had a stupid post that looked like an excerpt from an upcoming video talking about Kylo Ren and how he's actually a pathetic little weakling and even the movie agrees with her on that. It, of course, went immediately into her sperging about Warcraft and how Sylvanas is a main character and how she's more powerful than all the men and no one should be surprised that she beat Bolvar with bullshit unseen powers and how Tirion Fordring is apparently a self-insert or something.
But she deleted it when I was saving the above post. I'm sure we'll be seeing more from it soon, though. She can never shut up about her opinions for long.

Only a matter of time, Ginger. Pay attention to what happened with Lizzy (that incidentally you helped to perpetuate). After a month or two, "oh nah we're all good", and a few more months after that, "she's an abusive witch".

Honestly after all the shit Ginger talked about Lizzy I'm gonna love when she starts groveling at Lizzy's feet. And I KNOW it's gonna happen. I can count the number of people who ended their friendship with Jerry in lasting good faith on one hand only.

I'm inclined to agree, but let's not forget: compared to the rest of Lily's rout, Carousel managed to leave relatively unscathed.
I can't say if that's because they were mutually okay with the break up or if she had something on Lily, but either way, they broke up and moved on (supposedly).

So how do we know it won't be the same case with Ginger? I'd say if Lily goes on the warpath against Ginger, it must mean Ginger has something damning against her like Patch and Lizzy did.

It'd have to be really bad for Lily to slander a girl nearly a decade her junior, but who knows.
Either way I can't wait to see what happens.

Logically I'd agree, but optimistically, let me just point out that that's how it starts. Look at that link I gave, Jerry was on relatively good, stable terms with Lizzy for a few months until practically out of the blue he came out and said she was abusive. This is a cycle that's repeated endlessly for a number of his ex-friends, Josh, Ink, most of the TF2 bronies, Silver Quill, Patchwork, Lizzy, Brittany, hell, he's even done that for Tara, someone who doesn't even exist.

Give it time.

Maybe I'm reading too much into things, but doesn't this reply sounds passive agressive?

Yes. It was very much NOT messy in the slightest.

"Yes, we're in fact FINE and we have NO resentment AT ALL. There were NO problem whatsoever and I DON'T have her nudes on my drive to blackmail her if she says anything bad about me."

Now Sylvanas is a grooming and/or gaslighting victim?
I tried racking my brain to figure out the mental gymnastics of this one. There's literally nothing in Sylvanas' lore even remotely close, having her body literally be controlled by Arthas through magic is the closest thing but that's not it. Also notice how she can never be bothered to elaborate, it's always just a given or obvious. If asked to explain she'd either just say no or insult you for being to stupid or something.

Honestly the only thing that makes sense is that Lily literally sees herself as Sylvanas, or as near to that as can be. So transitive property applies: Lily is a victim of grooming and/or gaslighting, therefore so is Sylvanas.

IIRC the idea of 'demisexual' actually came from a roleplaying forum. I think in context it was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but the Internet's gonna Internet.

The origin from a roleplaying forum also makes a lot of sense when you realize that one of the most common personality notes on a profile is 'only opens to people they're close to'. This is supposed to imply the character is a brooding introvert, but having spent a bit of time out in the real world, interacting with real people, I have run into relatively few who have decided to tell their entire life's story to a stranger.

(Although they are definitely out there.)

Pretty sure Lily ain't demi anything, though. It's been brought up before but it's been a while-- look at how she writes romances. Writers usually handle their subject matter based on their own experiences and predilections, and you can usually tell by how an author handles a character's sexuality certain things about the author. Broadly, men and women will oftentimes write character sexuality very differently-- men oftentimes put more of a focus on physicality, women on romantic bonding.

If Lliy were demiromantic, this would reflect in her work. Because the important part is in the emotional bonding, you would see characters forming those bonds, making those mental connections. You would get a focus on them as partners finding and establishing those meaningful connections. You would, just by nature of writing what you know, want to incorporate the romance you find most ideal in the idealized romances you're writing; you would incorporate the romance that's most familiar to you because it comes most naturally and conveys the most real emotion.

Lily writes all of her self-insert romantic leads like they're horny men.

Ah, demiromantic... AKA: "I think falling in love with someone you barely know is the norm, so I'm obviously special"

It's for those people that read too much romance and romantic fanfics and end up with the impression most people just meet their loved one randomly and it's barely a month before they're going at it. I get wanting a romance to be quicker in a story, skipping the months to years it can take for two people to really bond to such a level, but in real life the slow approach is usually the one that leads to long-lasting couples. You hear of people dating for years before sealing the deal with a marriage for a reason.

That Lily calls herself demiromantic is no surprise, it's the label used by those who don't understand how other people work. Didn't she herself say in her writing tips that there's barely any different between best friends and lovers? Tell me that don't sound like the shit you'd hear from an incel trying to convince his best female friend to give him a chance lol

Btw, good on you Ginger. Get out of this perpetually sinking ship and make something of your life. Or at least date a Youtuber with actual good prospects for the future.

As a writer, i know that and i planned a really complex sub-plot romance which goes bad in the first half and rebuilding in the second half because the first love is killed, with the main character dealing with the pain for a entire part and the second one must control him for good. But i'm gonna remind you why romantic fanfics are trash: the characters doesn't have pressure. If you want to go in the quick way to build a emotional relationship, they must have a convincing development in the environment in which they are submerged; if is war and either of them are important, is better being quick because death is in their door. If is a non-fiction setting, well, you need more building in that because they're not pressures by extreme scenarios.
Like i said earlier, any Lily written for so long isn't worthwhile. Is nothing. Like bytes on your HDD/SSD without use, more than the available space.
And remember this; Lily fanfics aren't fast-phased. She tried to making that up for so long too.

More on that, if Lily is really demi-anything, how long does she think she needs to get to know someone before falling for them? All I'm saying is she proposed marriage to both Mikaila and Lizzy pretty damn quickly. Either little over or little under a year in both cases. By most normal vows of marriage, she was willing to spend her life with both these people after knowing them for barely a year and spending most of that year conversing online instead of physically spending time in one another's presence.

It doesn't come across as someone who really takes their time to get to know someone, and more like a Christian who desperately wants to bang someone, but was raised to believe they'd be damned for all eternity if they had sex before they were wed.

Not to mention, if my memory is correct, she explicitly said that Mikaila wasn't really special and was just there for her.

Real emotional bond there, Lily! All the foundation of a scrap house built on quicksand

Lily has said that she 'catches feelings' for her friends very easily so it evolves pretty much immediately to romantic pining. Or what she claims is romantic pining. It sounds to me more like ownership through emotional blackmail.

i decided to waste valuable time that i will never get back to weight in on the demi stuff

I think that the first thing to understand is that the whole "everyone only wants to have sex with people they know" is bullshit, if it were true, the make up and fitness industry wouldnt be worth trillions of dollars and advertisements wouldn't rely as much for sex appeal

seriously, the only reason people think that the majority of mankind is like this is because women that had sex outside of marriage until, like, the 80s, were severely ostracized and treated as abnormal because of puritan religiousness

Here's a list of things that demisexuals don't do because of their lack of attraction to people they don't know:
> be attracted to celebrities like actors, musicians, models, etc
> watch porn that doesn't feature characters they know or celebrities that they've developed parasocial relationships with
> casual hook ups
> signing up for online matchmaking services or going on blind dates with friends
> internet roleplay, telesex or some other form of long distance sex with strangers
> be affected by commercials with sexual appeal

also, depending on the strenght of the bond required for being attracted, it's VERY common for demisexuals to only be attracted to three or four people in their LIFETIME

i don't really know what demiromantic means (and Lily's refusal to explain it doesn't really help) but from what I've seen, it seems to follow the same logic. demiromantics won't get crushes on their schoolmates or coworkers, won't feel "love at first sight" or whatever, will actually take some time to see other people as romantic prospects

honestly, it's possible that EVERYBODY is at least a little bit demiromantic, or that some people fake it, but in general, i think that if the person goes out of the way to identify with this kind of microlabel, i think it has some kind of significant impact on their life, so i'm inclined to believe them. like, there's so much to mock about lily, this is seriously minor in comparison

yeah, give me the dumb, autistic and mad at the internet reacts, i deserve it
