Let's be fair now: what the hell else can you see Phil doing in ten years?

Answer: exactly what he's doing now. What's he going to do, save for retirement? He doesn't have a real job. Go back into the work force? Nope, he's too stupid for that. He's going to be 60+ years old, childless, unhappily married, and streaming for the rest of his life... or at least until his eventual heart attack.

To be fair, Jose doesn't actually play him. He gets in Phil's lobby and uses some trick to make the lobby crash to annoy Phil. I don't think he's ever actually played a match, and I don't think he's ever missed a Street Fighter stream doing his schtick. So he's kind of a loser too, but an effective troll.

Still the most entertaining way of watching DSP getting trolled, though. And completely free too.

That fact that Phil is nearly 40 years old and still remembers and discusses one particular instance during his childhood when he was told no speaks volumes about his upbringing. I’d say that it actually damaged him but that might imply that I care (I don’t) or it might diminish the real harm his parents did allowing him to grow up a spoilt ignorant slob.

Phil is explaining that Juneteenth becoming a holiday may push his YT payday back from Monday. So look forward to a bonus begging day on Monday when he is waiting on payment, just like he did with Twitch. I hope he stays on-brand enough to compare Twitch abusing him to slavery. He also just promised he will reduce the tips goals back to $100/stream.

And he is again playing this 'we'll go back to normal' card. Again, the begging has never changed or stopped, and his income never dipped.
He is also saying that today will directly affect what he can do with Kat tomorrow. So he somehow afforded his bills despite not regularly hitting his tips goals, and now he can still afford his day off, but the $400 he is asking for today will dictate how much they can do. What is he doing tomorrow that will run $400? And if it doesn't require $400, then why sit here lying about it other than to feign distress.

I can't fathom how stupid you would have to be not to see the scam here.

EDIT: In trying to say he doesn't want this to feel like a job, but needing to treat it like a job... he just explained that he'll be good after tomorrow and won't be in a bad situation anymore because he'll be getting paid again and he won't have to ask for tips.
Okay, so never mind that he never saw a dip in income because of the $200 tips goal, in what world did his earnings on Twitch ever cover him? Since the vest streak ended, he begged literally every week from the 25th of the preceding month to the 15th for his Twitch payday to cover his bills. He's actually retconning struggling to pay his bills while he was at Twitch.
