I looked around a little and I think the location was the Concordia Festsälen in the Friedrichshain area of Berlin. There was a lesbian ball there (tolerated by officials for some reason) held on April 20th 1940 and there seem to have been similar events held by the same club, which was called Die Lustige Neun. Everyone is tired of this topic. It doesn’t really matter whether some people were able to pull the gender change thing off, Nazi Germany as a whole wasn’t a gay friendly environment and I’d leave it at that. I also wish people would stop obsessing over nazis as a whole, it’s become the historical equivalent of Harry Potter. Read another book and study another event or whatever.
