She claims CCI from her hEDS. She actually switches between the foam brace, the hard brace, and no brace in her videos and pictures, so the whole thing is very sketchy. In one Instagram post, the caption says something along the lines of "Had to take my brace off because this is so important" as if having something important to say is relevant to your need of a neck brace.
Well she should be straight off to a geneticist to get her genetic confirmation of hEDS when its available ;)

Now, according to Chelsea, she had spinal surgery back in 2016 for herniated discs and Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD), but she doesn't specify what the surgery actually did. Whatever it did, she says it reversed itself.

Wait. They normally remove the discs that are a problem, so she's saying the discs replaced themselves (with herniated or decaying ones)? She's just straight-up stupid.

It literally isn’t doing anything. Those types of braces are used for short periods of time for soft tissue injuries (e.g. whiplash) to give the neck muscles an opportunity to relax and heal.
And unless she's got like 10, that thing must be nasty, all crusty and stinky and sweat stained.

They regrew? That's some special kind of stupid.

It sounds like she is referring to a microdiscectomy, which unlike spinal fusion does not involve removing and replacing disc material or fusion of the spinal column with plates/screws.

It would be done via a small incision, and basically they “clip off” the edge of the protruding disc that is pushing into the spinal cord or impeding the nerves. Imagine making a PB& J, squishing out some of the jelly and wiping it off. Then later with pressure, some more of that jelly might leak out. It wouldn’t “reverse” itself, but once you modify the original disc’s membrane that keeps it intact (which herniation does anway), it is more likely to continue to compress and extrude over time.

There’s no other spinal surgery that could be described in the manner she does. It is a conservative approach usually done on young people, with great healing time and minimal scarring (robot surgery). I’ve infrequently seen it utilized on spines that have more than one level of significant herniation, because there isn’t any way to support the spine. So she may have had one surgical herniation (the culprit of her pain) and one minor herniation, or a few bulging discs in the same lumbar region (IF she had multiple levels of diseased discs).

tess went off private, i think that she thinks the farms are done with her - but she’s been coping real hard for the last day or so ever since. it’s clear that she sees what’s being said about her online. lol and let it be noted that she tags her posts with #fightliketess

not to sound optimistic or anything but i think that just for a second there she might have regret for what she did to herself

but then she goes right back to grifting, peddling “merch samples,” that she most definitely bought with her own money, and insulting the only people that give a shit about her lol

imagine coming to kiwifarms and bragging about being top of your class at nursing school
lmao
Especially when there was an article online that (from the local paper where she lives I believe) that there was a speaker at the graduation, but there was NO Valedictorian, etc. WHY would you continue to post lies like this knowing full well that everything is online nowadays and with a click of a mouse you can get found out that your claim of being Valedictorian isn't true? She is whacked for sure.

Tess, are wearing the eye patches meant for pediatrics patients part of your kink?
I bet smacking your lips like a hungry hungry hippo is too. Shaving your head? Stuffing your face with opiates to the point of bowel obstruction? Cosplaying a cancer patient? This whole thing is an opiate laced kink being sold to the public as a chronic illness.
whatever gets you off, I guess.
Is this the same Tess that stopped eating a few weeks ago preparing for her death?

Wow. She wants to be queen of the idiots. Unfortunately, she's too gross in a pedestrian way, too unattractive to make the kink thing work, and too thirsty for the attention of her own thread.

Where, precisely, does she think this particular train is heading? If she gets a thread of her own, it isn't coming down. I advise looking at the Melinda Scott thread, that crazy bitch has sued to have a thread taken down like 5 times and failed. She also posted in her own thread, a lot.

Even if a thread was taken down, what then? Does it fix her problems? Does it grant her immediate full health or all the opiods her nasty junkie ass can dream of? Nope. It gets her nothing. As of now she's a google-able trainwreck, and that's apparently the best she's going to get.
It's pretty obvious that she was given the "Queen Of The Idiots" award right after her glowing non-existent Valedictorian Speech I'm sure.

Id never looked into stiff person syndrome, it’s very interesting. Horrible debilitating muscle spasms that can be triggered by random sudden noises.

Luckily it seems to respond to high dose benzos, lol.
Would that make it a Nuero or Psych related condition? I’d never heard of it until this thread. I know Benzos can reduce seizure activity, and that’s neuro but the noise aspect makes me think of how PTSD can present.

sorry, I know you posted a few pages back, just curious.

Is Tess still trying to get rid of her precious magpie she’s no longer able to care for? Or did she grift enough to make it worth her while to keep the dog?
This is the most recent update I could find regarding her search.
hmmm.png
It's very vague and doesn't say much at all.

At this point, I honestly wonder if her posting about the dog is one big ploy to gain more attention and favour. Maybe she's not actually planning to give him up at all, and this is something that she can stick to for a while to come across as selfless. And in the end, she'll act as though she's somehow being brave by deciding to keep him.

Also, much of her audience is advocating for her to keep Magpie, so if she genuinely did want to look out for him by giving him to someone who can care for him better, that might be swaying her to not look for adopters.

Also, please tell me you've seen the "Magpie likes chubby girls" video.

I think it's neurological. There are actual tests for it, so there's definitely physical components to it. I did a little research while I've been reviewing Chelsea's stories, but there's not a ton about it and some of the stuff I've found is over my head in medical terms.

Neuro with multiple physiological components that can be tested for, and usually a series of other causes that can be attributed to physical illness with Catalonia-like or seizure-like symptoms are ruled out as well.

She’s videod herself - she does not have the clinical presentation for it. No matter how hard she tries to perform.

Either way, psych or Neuro, it’s treated with Ativan (catatonia or stiff person, or muscle spasms).

Alright Kiwis! I’d like to introduce a personal cow of mine who likes to claim every illness under the sun, plus a few bonus diseases she never brings up. Her name is Victoria and she claims the munchie combo platter, along with Lupus, Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia, and pheochromocytoma, which she likes to call her “cancer,” despite pheochromocytomas being benign tumors (Based on a google search; medfags feel free to correct me). She’s a certified Jesus Freak and mostly posts boomer-esque Christian memes. It was fun tracking her descent into munchiedom, though. Oh, and last but not least, she’s a stan of our dearly departed jaqjaq.

Here she is! Miss America! Victoria Guyadeen, a 20-something who treats illnesses like Pokémon cards.

Yes, pheochromocytoma is almost always histologically benign, i.e. not cancerous and will not spread to other parts of the body. A very, very small subset of them are cancerous, but it's usually one of those types of cancer that is readily treated and never comes back. Standard chemotherapy isn't very effective against malignant pheochromocytoma, anyway.

The major issue with even benign pheochromocytoma is that because the tumor is located in the adrenal gland, it secretes hormones, particularly epinephrine and norepinephrine. This can cause a lot of unpleasant symptoms, including high blood pressure that isn't very controllable with medication. The hypertension can cause all kinds of badness.

However, most people with a pheochromocytoma just have surgery to remove it and move on with their lives. The "chemo" claim she's making doesn't make a whole lot of sense regardless of the type of tumor hers is.

Chelsea (@tanzchelsea) started this year off slow, but she really got going in March and managed to pick up a couple favorite munchie toys and land herself a hospital admission. We'll also get to see some dancing, more stiff attacks, and some 10/10 pain TikToks.

To kick of the new year, here's Chelsea dancing sans neck brace and in full makeup and a wig. It's a New Year Miracle!

But, obviously, that can't last. Chelsea is going to get a chest x-ray due to whatever they saw on her lung when they did her spinal MRI. Chelsea also had yet another MCAS reaction, this time maybe from her medical marijuana. And Chelsea reveals the name of her special east coast zebra surgeon. It's Dr. Henderson! Who would have seen that coming?
chelsea_2021_01_07.pngchelsea_2021_01_07b.pngchelsea_2021_01_07c.png
Instagram post on the topic:
chelsea_2021_01_08.png

And here is Chelsea, at 10/10 pain, calmly making a Tiktok video:

And here is Chelsea, after her x-ray, whining about ableism because when she had her "stiff attack" during the x-ray, they just moved her around and talked around her like she wasn't a person. Clearly ableism, and not them just not buying her bullshit.

Chelsea is getting a power wheelchair:

And here is another one of Chelsea's "stiff attacks." This one was allegedly set off by her brushing her teeth.

Chelsea's chest x-ray came back fine and her doctor assures her that her chloride levels are fine. Chelsea also has an OB/GYN appoint the next day to discuss her ultrasound results.
chelsea_2021_01_13.pngchelsea_2021_01_13b.pngchelsea_2021_01_13c.png

Chelsea went to her OB/GYN and apparently they found a polyp in her uterus so Chelsea gets a hysteroscopy. Apparently, insurance won't cover the hysterectomy Chelsea wants until they try something else first.

chelsea_2021_01_15.pngchelsea_2021_01_15b.pngchelsea_2021_01_15c.png

Notice that pink thing Chelsea's been wearing over her shirts and under her jackets in the last several videos? Apparently, her PT put her in a brace because she's been doing "too many party tricks" that we've never seen despite her recording everything.

Chelsea's PCA does her nails:

And Chelsea has a MCAS reaction to her own hair when she gets a haircut:

It's surgery day! Apparently, they're also doing a D&C, which is when they remove everything (uterine lining, etc.) that's in the uterus, but Chelsea just found that out for some reason.
chelsea_2021_01_26.png
So let's go to surgery with Chelsea!

Chelsea spends the next whining about severe pain and "stiff attacks" while making TikToks.

chelsea_2021_01_27.pngchelsea_2021_01_27b.pngchelsea_2021_01_27c.pngchelsea_2021_01_27d.png

Chelsea's wheelchair arrives:

Which she then turns into a motorized bed because "stiff attacks"

HORRIBLE NEWS: Chelsea gets her first cycle post-surgery and claims she spends the day having MCAS issues and seizures.

Because Chelsea's surgery didn't fix her issues, she's getting the hysterectomy:

chelsea_2021_02_11.pngchelsea_2021_02_11b.pngchelsea_2021_02_11c.png

Chelsea's mom got to spend her birthday outside in -20 weather to hug her grandkids because Chelsea's immune issues.

Chelsea has a complex care doctor appointment. She needs to look into her own labs because she's Chelsea. Also, she's been having trouble eating.

Later that day, Chelsea goes in to get her labs done. They're doing another GAD65 test (to check for SPS) and some other things. Then Chelsea and her mom go through the car wash because Chelsea wants to TikTok it and STIFF ATTACK HELL.

chelsea_2021_02_23.pngchelsea_2021_02_23b.pngchelsea_2021_02_23c.png

Chelsea's hysterectomy then gets schedule for 5/4. (Spoiler: It won't happen)\
chelsea_2021_02_25.png

Also, Chelsea gets her GAD results back and they're negative. Again.

In March, Chelsea starts saline infusions and apparently feels GREAT! She's dancing again!

But Chelsea runs out of veins they can do IVs in so she's going to get a PICC line! It's a whole saga.

(Also, imagine swapping TikTok info with a patient, going home, looking them up, and finding the absolute munch-tastic trainwreck that is Chelsea.)

Chelsea shows off her PICC on TikTok and throws shade at her doctors:

And some random terrible knee pain:

Near the end of March, Chelsea claims another bad stiff attack. This time in her chest. She was coughing and gasping for air and vomitting, but still no 911 call. Her nasal meds help.

chelsea_2021_03_24.pngchelsea_2021_03_24b.pngchelsea_2021_03_24c.png

And Chelsea shows off her new PICC on Instagram:
chelsea_2021_03_26.png

And a PICC line dressing change. Here, Chelsea is claiming some sort of MCAS bandage reaction:

Now, I mentioned Chelsea gets admitted to the hospital at the end of March. It ends up being quite the ride, so it gets its own spoiler.
March 28, Chelsea has a fever and talks about maybe going to urgent care.

Apparently, by "urgent care" she meant the ER, because that's where she goes. She ends up getting admitted and transferred to another hospital.

By day 2, things are going fairly well. Chelsea is on antibiotics for her UTI and has been moved from NPO to clear fluids. She's not in too much pain.

Day 3, Chelsea is still only on clear fluids. Now, she's complaining about lack of nutrition and a yeast infection. They can't (or more likely, won't) really do any testing to figure out her nausea and inability to eat.

Day 8: They cut off Chelsea's IV fluids. She has a whole massive fit and manages to get them back. She calls it a victory.

Days 9 & 10: Chelsea claims she still can't eat food and is having trouble holding down liquids. Doctors refuse to do TPN, but finally agree to give her a feeding tube. #toobie

After 13 days, Chelsea gets sent home despite claiming PICC line issues. (Don't worry, she'll be back soon)
