Because of some of what they claim about us, I feel the need to do this.
I will be going through some of the points made and individually discussing them. I am not going chronologically through each screenshot - I'm just going by what comes to mind first.
  • Claiming that I am 'acting like I'm some sort of great detective' and that I 'did an amazing thing': Yeah, no. Literally all of the shit was given to me. All I did was compile & archive; the only 'detective work' that I did was looking a little bit into the potential Phase Connect staff-member lead that Yuni posted. I didn't do some sort of great & amazing deed. I also kinda understand people's discomfort about the full-server archive, but...
  • The idea that people in the server will be stalked/doxed/etc: Let me break it to you: no-one who goes through the archive will care at all about a random server member and their lives. Even if you posted your entire home address at one point in the server, no one would care. Why? Because it doesn't matter. You're one random person in a server talking; no-one going through the logs would decide to go out of their way to fuck with you specifically. None of us here would go after Yuni/Pippa either. You know why? Take a look at one of the main forum rules.

    Why the fuck would we even want to fuck with a non-lolcow VTuber that everyone here likes? And especially random people in a server? Everyone in there currently is & will be safe. Nothing bad is going to happen. The 'wrath of KiwiFarms' is a myth.
  • The idea that this was done to 'cancel' Yuni/Pippa & find 'dirt': This is completely incorrect in almost every way possible. The guy who reached out to me with the archive & screenshots is a fan, and thought that the people here would like to have this insight about her. And besides, why would KiwiFarms of all places even want to cancel anyone? The site is literally the arch-enemy of those types of people, and the screenshots were posted because they contained information that made us like her more and gave extra context into her situation- not because they had 'dirt.'
  • The idea that we are 'incels' and 'cyberbullies' who do nothing but maliciously hurt people: Of the 2,000+ pages of this thread that I have read, a majority of the posts are people just supporting their oshis and talking about the chuuba scene in general. We rarely talk shit about the VTubers themselves; Rather, when we decide to talk shit, it is mostly directed at idiotic community members, such as Hololive Historian/Poka. And even when we do talk shit about a chuuba, it's mostly in jest and isn't taken seriously at all (I.E. Kiara & Calli doomposts). Most of our time here is spent supporting. It seems like some people in the server have the misconception that my post was made with malicious intent. I will reiterate: no, it wasn't.

    If these replies scream "malicious incel" to you, then I don't know what to say.

    So, in conclusion: The post had no malicious intent. No, I don't think I'm a saint. The reason it was posted was to provide some new information and background into her life/struggles, and it made us support her even more.

    I also really do doubt that many people are actually going to painstakingly go through the entire archive, let alone download 23 gigabytes to do it. It would be a huge undertaking and a gigantic hassle to do so.

I've been lurking in this thread for a few months and the Pippa discord dump is the first thing to actually get me to post. It almost feels like I have some cognitive dissonance (not sure if thats even the right term for it) about Pippa after that. All the hololive girls even after finding their roommates I could separate the two in my head but with Pippa doing stuff like talking about a /vt/ and farms civil war in her staring contest premiere its hard to do that. Best example for me is the almost feeling of nostalgia when reading the screenshot about piccolo dick but I know bringing up the topic of old /v/ memes in Pippa or Yuni's channel would be stupid but it doesnt change the fact that I kinda want to and navigating what would be okay to say on what channel seems difficult.

I guess I'll just take some meds and go back to lurking though as the best option.

On one last note with /v/ having been brought up has anyone else been finding themselves just discussing vtubers more than watching them lately sorta like how /v/ doesnt actually play video games?
